We were looking for a place for a friend weekend. Two couples, friends for over 40 years, with our fur babies. The house is as pictured. We brought our food and cooked in all 3 nights. We got an Uber to and from casino, worked out perfectly for us. The shopping options nearby were many. We went to a local craft show, and a thrift store, other stores nearby also. Very good house for the price.
We stayed 9 nights. We needed an early check in, and host was very accommodating. Beautiful woodwork. There were no dressers, which for a 9-day stay would have been helpful. There are a lot of conveniences within the village and dining options. Neighbors were all very friendly and offered dining suggestions as well.

So we booked this place for several nights in Hamburg NY and it was a complete disaster and should never have been listed with VRBO. I'm nearly 70 and have bad asthma. Immediately on entering the place I had the first of two asthma attacks due to the moldy must dirty air in the place. It was not unlike a college apartment and is potentially dangerous to others who have similar and worse conditions. I then had a second asthma attack that nearly put me in the hospital it was so bad and it persisted foe 1-2 days. And as bad or worse were the ants running around the counter tops, I have attached two videos. We had to leave after one night and I asked for some sort of refund which he hs been seriously resistant to even meeting me half way. I of course would like my money back and have asked him for that but I also want to make sure no one else is hurt in the process. I will also post a negative review as I cannot in good conscience not let others know of the issues around this placve and it's dangers especially to seniors.
The property is in a great location and convenient access to local stores, highway, multiple coffee shops and bakeries. The host, Anthony, is very friendly and responded quickly when needed. The house is clean, well kept and offers all of the conveniences you would expect. Looking forward to a future stay.
My husband and I stayed at Anthony's place and loved this beautiful Victorian style home. The front porch was perfect for sitting out and enjoying the weather while the screened in area was great for when the weather was a little less friendly. All essentials were provided, including coffee and little creamers, and the beds were super comfortable. You may want to bring your own pillow as the ones provided are thin. Glad we brought ours. The air conditioning worked perfectly which was not expected as some times the older style homes are not set up for it but this one was pretty amazing. We truly enjoyed our stay here and I will absolutely plan to stay again. Thank you Anthony for an amazing place!
