Great location right between pigeon forge and Gatlinburg.Voiced concerns and Host responded almost immediately! Only suggestion I’d give is moving the hot tub so a bear doesn’t creep up on guest at night.

Spring break Gatlinburg

This property was great and had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. The location worked well for us too. Not too far from downtown Gatlinburg and Smokey Mountain National Park.

We loved staying here! It was beautiful and had everything we needed. We got to see 4 bears come up the driveway one afternoon so our kids loved that! Rudy is so kind and we just felt at home during our stay.

Great cabin, great location

We loved this adorable A-frame! It’s just a few minutes from Gatlinburg, a moderately easy drive, and had everything we needed for a wonderful few days. We had rainy weather, but we still enjoyed coffee in the chairs on the covered wrap around porch and had a great time playing games inside. We loved the hottub and cooked 2 big meals and had everything we needed. Great layout for families. Great communication from the host.

Fun time in the Smokey’s

We had wonderful time during our stay. We had the opportunity to see wild bears from the balcony of our cabin. We enjoyed everything about the cabin, comfortable beds, great views, hot tub, game room and fireplace. We will look forward to going back!

The hottub was great and hot enough. However, there were several problems:1. Uncomfortable bed mattresses in 1st and 3rd floor beds.2. Mice droppings in the kitchen 3. Old and discolored pots and pans4. TVs not working on 1st snd 3rd floors 5. Broken window shutters on 1st floor 6. Missing bathroom rail on 2nd floor7. Thermostat on 2nd floor could not go above 66 degrees 8. Bedding is old and uncomfortable 9. Bathroom towels are rough10. Need more supplies in the kitchen to make it more attractive.

Smokies stay

We enjoyed our trip to the Smokies and thought the cabin was located in a good location but was lacking some up keep and styling. The photos showed a cute styled cabin but many of those items were not in the unit when we arrived. We also found ripped screens, missing hardware on furniture, missing closet door, a few missing kitchen items, no chalk for pool, etc. We did enjoy the hot tub and pool table!

We enjoyed our stay but rated a three for the cleanliness of the house and we feel the pictures are deceptive as far as the amount of space . The pictures made the bedrooms look larger than they are. Upstairs very hot.

Morning Welcome from a Bear

Our yearly family gathering, we enjoyed our stay at Fire on the Mountain. Nice quiet location. Every morning & evening we had the opportunity to have one particular bear come visit, who just mosied his way thru to say hi! Cabin easy to find, short drive to downtown. We enjoyed traveling thru the GSNP & the beauty it heholds. A shout out to Rudy who was fantastic to respond to emails.

Bears everywhere

Cabin was nice. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for food preparations. Great location with a lot bears. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating for cleanliness is because the loft area master bedroom bed sheets had hair everywhere. We changed the sheets out with some clean ones from the closet.

Amazing location and place

We had 4 adults and 2 kids (ages 9 and 11). There was plenty of room. The kids made great use of the pool table. The kids enjoyed the lower level. All of the beds were very comfortable. The location is great. It has great access to downtown and the park entrances. It took minutes to get to downtown. It is great because it has great access to River Road so you can bypass the hustle and hustle of Parkway. We used two of the pools that you have access to. They are minutes away and not hard to find. The kids loved the pools. The cabin has everything you need. Plenty of towels and the kitchen has all the cooking tools you need. The hot tub was clean and heated up fast when we would turn it up a couple of degrees. We highly recommend this cabin.

Wonderful week getaway

This property was wonderful. There was 9 of us and it was plenty of room. The deck was enjoyable to sit on in the evening waiting for bears to show up. We saw lots of bears. Make sure to keep your vehicle doors locked because they know how to open car doors. The hot tub was so relaxing and perfect to relax and unwind. The beds were super comfy. I also was very impressed that there was a crock pot there to use and lots of kitchen utensils if your staying in to eat. The chalet club amenities were perfect as well. There is so much more I could go on about. We would for sure stay there again.

Perfect for our family trip!

The cabin was beautiful and easy to find. When we arrived we were there less than 5 minutes before we had our first bear visit, unfortunately we hadn't unloaded anything yet and the bear decided to help himself to the food in the cooler. My suggestion would be to grab food immediately! Other than that we couldn't have had a better time. We spent most of our time sight seeing and just enjoying our family vacation. The hot tub was so nice after a long day of walking and the beds were super comfy. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a getaway. The owners were so friendly and helpful through the whole process and even have cute little things throughout the cabin you can purchase! Overall this cabin was perfect and we would definitely book again!

A Mountain Retreat Above Expectations

We had an amazing relaxing stay. This place deserves a five star rating and here’s why. 1. We relaxed nightly after our hikes in the hot tub, the perfect size for our family of 6. 2. Communication was wonderful, we needed a few things and these needs were met immediately. 3. The wildlife! We were fortunate to spot bears almost everyday. They romped around and played. We kept a safe distance and watched them from our deck. So, amazing! 4. The location was great, close enough to adventures in town and in the Smokies but far enough away to be private. 5. The beds were very comfortable and we were able to get some great rest. I highly recommend this place for your family.
