Jill was a laid back and awesome guest! I let her check in early on a Sunday and she let me plant flowers I needed to get in the ground!!!! I would welcome her back in a heartbeat!
Great little cabin with everything we needed. Melissa was great and helped us with our canoe float trip. Very quiet area but still close to everything.

Perfect guests… Left the cabin just as they found it, and I would have them back and heartbeat! Enjoy their company and appreciated them using me as their local Kayak outfitter to get on the creek!
We had an amazing time. We would love to stay once again!
Anyone wondering if this is the place to stay? Let me confirm that it definitely is! Be sure to check out the local restaurants, they are also incredible!

Thanks for choosing to stay at The Ridge with me and welcome to the Ozarks! I hope you guys got all belongings moved into your new home and are enjoying exploring the area!
Where do I even begin, we absolutely LOVE this place and Melissa is absolutely wonderful to work with and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and comfortable! This was our second time coming here and we plan on coming back every year! Beautiful sunsets and scenery-if you’re wanting to disconnect and enjoy peace and nature then this is the spot. We also love that there are trails for hiking and water for kayaking so close! Would highly recommend!
We had the best time in Melissa's little cabin! It was the perfect place for our weekend trip. Melissa is fantastic! She's super sweet and very responsive. The hot tub was amazing after a long day floating the river. We will definitely be returning!
The place itself was nice, clean, and cute. Just as pictured. The description online didnt match.

Thank you for staying at The Ridge Ranch Tarra and for describing my tiny house, The Ridge Adventure Center, as “nice, clean, and cute and Just as pictured”.
I am somewhat confused as to why you then said the description for The Adventure Center didnt match what you read online 🤷♀️ the tiny house is exactly as it has been in the Short three months I’ve been open and this is the first time anyone has said my description doesn’t match! Perhaps you are just confused as to what property you are reviewing since it’s been over two weeks since your stay!
I would add that Although I have made improvements to the campground and properties since I’ve opened, they are normal for a business with a 3rd vacation rental under remodel for groups to be able to use the property as described in the listing!
Safe travels!

Fantastic property. Updated amenities. Cozy and quiet. There is a lot to do around it. Bentonville, Buena vista, Eureka springs, beaver lake etc are all within a quick drive. For the price it’s an absolute must stay. We stayed in the winter so we didn’t even get a chance to experience the elk river.

Our stay in Pineville
Need water filters knowing they have water that is not suitable for drinking nor really bathing. They said it had high Sulfur. Ok it smells and taste bad for someone that is not use to it.

The guest made no mention of having any issue with the water during his stay or filtered drinking water could have been provided. Unfortunately the Ozarks is notorious for having sulfur deposits and Pineville especially, inside the city limits even has high sulfur content. In two years no one else has ever complained that it was so strong they couldn’t shower and in fact, the shower had been used by this guest. Sorry for your inconvenience and dislike.
We had the most wonderful time at the cabin in the woods!! The cabin was perfect and the property was a great treat for my dog who played endlessly with Biggie Smalls, the resident dog. The magic was at night though, first with stunning sunsets ! followed by the star filled skies at night....unfortunately because of the heat I didn't use the hot tub, but it was tempting. I wish I could have stayed longer, but those few days will last in my memory for the rest of my life!!!
My mom and I had a wonderful and quite stay at Melissa's cabin. Melissa was an amazing host and made sure to stay in communication about everything. The cabin was absolutely adorable and super cozy! The entire atmosphere was amazing .... from the view into the woods off the back porch, to the pitch black nights where thousands of stars were visible, to the sound of the rain on the metal roof the second night we stayed. We will definitely go back and also refer this place to friends and family! If you want somewhere quite to go and have the option to soak in a hot tub, this is a great place.

Ok, not great.
Had to deal with loud young campers that did not clean up after themselves and left the hot tub area a mess two nights in a row. Third night the hot tub didn’t even ever warm up. The cabin was extremely dusty. The Roku Tv did not work, thankfully we brought a laptop. Vagrant dog hanging about that made my pets very uneasy. I’ll give it a 3 out of 10. Wasn’t worth the price.

Brad did not declare or notify me he was bringing pets and did not pay for the extra fees which are also overdue. He and his guest left the cabin a disaster with dog hair everywhere and dirty dishes overflowing in the sink as well as a burned mess in the toaster oven all which required extra cleaning.
I also had no one “camping” that weekend and the other guests that were staying onsite that weekend had no issues whatsoever with the hot tub and left glowing reviews!
The review Brad left is false and in direct retaliation for attempting to collect the $200 due to my business and my honest review of him.
After reserving two nights a few days later Bradley asked to add an extra night prior to his stay which I obliged, then unknown to me at the time of his stay he changed his payment method and would not update it with Vrbo in order for me to be paid for the extra night.
Vrbo would do nothing to assist me in collecting, stating I should have collected from him prior to his check out so they gave me his phone number and asked me to contact him directly.
Brad would not answer my call on Monday so I text him and he text me back the next day and said he would update his card by Thursday and let me know. I contacted him back on Thursday and he never responded.
At first Brad had apologized and promised to update his card so after a week of non payment for the extra night I told him it was evident he had scammed me for the extra night and therefore I was blacklisting him.

Not a property for 3 people, yet the ad said 3
The check in process was not a problem, but walking into the cabin… the front door glass was shattered. The pictures looked as if the hot tub was private with this cabin, it is not, it’s a shared hot tub, while there’s an empty hot tub canopy stand right next to the cabin… empty, no hot tub, we had to go to the other cabin on the property to get in the hot tub, that’s on me, I guess I didn’t read the fine print and trusted pictures.I booked this property with the ages of myself, and my two teenage boys. 3 people. When opening the broken glass door, I tell my boys to be careful and not shut the door too hard. Walk in, and there’s just a full size bed. My oldest son is 6’4” and my youngest son is 5’7”, I’m 5’ 10”, we all aren’t fitting on the bed. Text the property owner, she states she can run to Walmart and get an air mattress, perfect. I text her thank you for accommodating. I took my boys to dinner in Bella Vista, came back, an air mattress, pump and a broom were at the door. Get in the hot tub, with my teenage boys, and we start relaxing, the other people in the cabin decided to start a fire, it was windy and the fire was getting big, poor water on it until it was “out”. They go inside and minutes later the fire ignited and started to have a flame with embers going all over the leaves, grass. My oldest put it out. The shower drain makes entire house smell like mildew and hair all over the shower. Owner made comments on how “big” my boys were. Never should have been able to

It was clear Elise was unhappy with everything from the moment she arrived even tho I accommodated her request for an air mattress she complained her whole trip. Elise’s main issue was she booked a tiny cabin with one bed for three full grown people with no private hot tub. I assumed she was bringing 2 children. The listing title both are clear and not in “fine print” & listing states there in one full sized be so I’m not sure how she intended to sleep with her two sons comfortably!? lol .…listing reads…“The Ridge Adventure Center rustic tiny cabin with hot tub access stars & sunsets. We have 3 vacation rentals & a small Glampground with 4 RV sites including 30/50 amp electric/water service, dump station and access to our 6 person luxury hot tub.” She also broke the house rule of no children under 18 in the hot tub. She complained by text multiple times saying for the amt of $ she spent she expected more. After leaving the next day she sent multiple texts making false statements and was rude I had to ask her to stop texting me. The platform next to the tiny cabins is a stage not an empty hot tub deck 🤦♀️. The other guests did not start an out of control fire and I could find no evidence of any out of fire occurring outside of the huge fire pit. She outright lied about that and the hair and mildew in the shower because I always clean myself and had the other guests go down and they didn’t see or sell anything. I have black listed her after the rude and hateful text messages she sent after checking out.
What a great place to stay after a long day of hiking! The cabin was very clean and comfortable….. had everything we could possibly need. The hot tub was AMAZING!!! Our host went out of her way to ensure our stay was great. I highly recommend and plan to come back in the future.
