We are Dana and Jeremy, your local, right-next-door hosts. Dana is a native Austinite, Real Estate Agent, entrepreneur and has 30+ years of knowing this city. Jeremy arrived here in 2004 from a small town in South Texas, Victoria. He is a full time Middle School Educator, entrepreneur, musician/artist manager and published author. We have both seen this city grow and change, while also flourishing in areas like food, music, film, art, technology and culture. Austin is a city where you can have a multitude of experiences at all times of day, or none, if you choose. With a bevy of free “to do” options like hiking, live music, the beautiful Austin Public Library and the downtown boardwalk off of Lady Bird Lake, you’re sure to find adventure in both nature and the city. The mindset here is, go out and have a fun time in the city and then come back to your desert retreat with a view!

Whether you feel like starting your day with a cup of coffee as you walk around Mary Moore Searight Park (that is just steps away), or by doing some yoga on our turfed green area - the choice is yours. A 100% completely private stay. A short jaunt takes you to Mary Moore Searight Park where you can enjoy the wildflowers/Bluebonnets when they're in season or a run around the trail. The Menchaca bars are literally around the corner (a very short UBER/LYFT ride). Love to take pictures/photos? The Desert Den has plenty of areas where you can take those perfect shots for your social media!! Whether it's in our white egg chairs, by the locally painted mural or sipping a cup of coffee in that bright red Adirondack chair. The choice is yours.
