This was the perfect place for our family for spring break. Simple clean and quiet place. Our only issue was quickly resolved. Communication with host and property manager was great. Would definitely stay again.
The house was just what we expected, the pool was great! The yard was awesome for our dogs. Close to several beaches, we really enjoyed Sanibel Island, visited Venice Beach&Fort Myers.Great shopping & restaurants nearby. Communication with the owner was excellent & check in was easy. Very convenient to everything! Would definitely stay again. Thanks Chris for a great vacation!
Great location to explore Cape Coral, Fort Meyers and Beach, Matlacha, Sanibel and Captiva. Convenient to stores and for walking to several nice restaurants. Plenty of room in the house for family and/or friends. Any issues we had were quickly taken care of by the property manager.
This house was great for our family (two adults, three kids) spring break. It was not too far to get out to the gulf from the channel on the boat. We were also within walking distance of a couple of fun restaurants. The kids loved the pool. The fenced in yard made it easy to bring the dog. Overall a clean quiet place for a nice family vacation.
Huge fenced in yard that my dog loved! Beds were comfortable, even though they creaked when you got in them. Thankfully we are a tall bunch, we would have had issues getting into the high beds if we weren’t. Pool was nice and warm and about 5 foot deep in the deepest part. Many DoorDash options. I want that huge couch in the entry area, seriously the most comfortable couch I have ever sat on!
My only complaint would be that there wasn’t spare toilet paper, paper towels, or beach towels. All were easily fixed though with a run to the store. We left two beach towels there to add to the supply.
Fantastic location and as long as you know the lock code is for the actual door (not the old school key box on the wall) it is a smooth check in process :-) Would definitely stay in again, and truly do wish I knew the manufacturer of that huge couch….totally epic setup!
Walk to grocery store, several places to eat and have coffee, short drive to the beach. House a nice layout. Very nice neighborhood. The first problem that we encountered was that we were given the wrong code for entry. Took 45 minutes for this to be straightened out. Not a good way to start. The next problem was I walked out to look at the pool. Unfortunately, my left foot found a sliver of glass. The amount of long black dog hair by the pool was unpleasant. Had to clean that up instead of tracking it around. The shower handle in the second bathroom would not shut off the water. Had to call the property manager and had to shut off the hot water that night. Waited for plumber to come fix that in the morning. Then next thing that broke was the washing machine. Could not wash clothes and had to spend part of a Saturday morning at the laundry mat. Went 5 days without washing machine. Be careful of the desk/make up table in master bathroom. It wobbles so bad that it may fall over. The dishes are cracked and chipped. Property manager had new ones shipped No mixing bowl, I went to the dollar store to buy one along with food containers. Since we stayed for a month, I went to get the mop to clean the floors. The mop was so filthy that I had to clean it first before using. The mirror is broken on the closet door in one of the bedrooms, needs fixed. Light bulbs are burnt out or need 3-way bulbs. The pillows in the primary smell of body odor.
House was very clean inside. Had an issue a with the washing machine which was replaced in a week. Owner and manager were very awesome to deal with. Had to do some sprucing up exterior but extremely nice place to stay.
Very comfortable and pleasant great neighborhood and awsome house close to restaurants, grocery stores and night life. Family loved the house and experience
Loved our stay! Quiet & peaceful neighborhood, great yard. The house is very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The large lanai offers great outdoor time and the pool is perfect. Love the tile work in the pool that makes the dolphins and turtles appear to be 3-D!
We really enjoyed our stay. The pool was great, did have to be repaired a couple times during our stay but it didn't affect us having a good time. Location is great, short drive to beaches, and the restaurant/bar is within walking distance. Everything we needed for beach days was in garage and provided so we didn't need to purchase anything. Overall I highly recommend!!
We had a great time. Some unmentioned features are, the covered and lighted patio. We really enjoyed playing cards in the evening. Also, the garage. It was super nice to bring the kids and beach toys into the garage and not have to drag it all through the house. We hardly ever go to the same place twice, but if we did, it would be this place!
We had a fantastic stay! The house was at such a great location: on a quiet street but definitely not far from anything you could ever want or need. The beds were comfortable. The pool was fantastic! My husband and daughter also enjoyed fishing at the dock. We’re already planning another stay as we have family in the area and visit Cape Coral often. Thanks for a great vacation spot!
The location of this house was great and the pool kept our kids occupied every free minute! House could use some updating but that doesn't affect the experience for our trip. We would stay here again.

Place needs a major cleaning!!
The house was in a great location however it was lacking a lot of things! There was only one washcloth and no pot holders in the entire house. Made for very creative ways of getting our food out of the oven. The whole house needs an extensive cleaning! Baseboards were filthy and it looked like none of the furniture was ever swept under. The only pieces of furniture that was nice were the beds. They were very comfortable! The rest of the furniture was worn and broken down. Sink in the one bathroom not attached to the bedroom leaked water ever time we used it. The pool and location is the only thing the house had going for it! The pool was a good size and had plenty of privacy from the neighbors.

Melissa, Thank you very much for your feedback.
We walked the house right after you left, and found several issues that we have since addressed, including replacing the cleaning crew. We found some of the missing items stored away, rather than disbursed among the bedrooms/bathrooms, and we regularly replace them, as we are made aware, such as wash cloths just replenished in October. The property manager is making a thorough inventory and ensuring that the linens, etc are spread out equally among the rooms, and not all stored in one place; and will make us aware when they run low.
The family room and patio set are relatively new(less than 2 years), but we do tend to keep the older furniture in the house for added seating as necessary. I will look into their condition.
Thanks,
Chris
My oldest son and I visited my younger son who lives in Cape Coral. House was clean, pool was great and location was outstanding!
Couple of things...
Baking dishes and flatware need to be replenished. I went looking for a dish to bake meatloaf and there was none. I had to borrow from my daughter in law.
I was expecting some contact from Chris upon checking out. That did not happen so I hope we were adequate with our clean up! I checked my email and VRBO but I couldn’t find any communication. Hope I didn’t miss it!
We had my two year old granddaughter visiting and she loved the pool.
Overall we had a great time!!
This house had everything our family needed for our week-long vacation. Great common space to eat and gather; 3 bedrooms with comfy beds; handy kitchen; fun pool and nice canal view. Close to restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful stay. We even extend 4 extra days. He house was great. It could use a few more dishes and maybe a pizza pan. It has 2 pizza cutters but no pizza pan 😂. The pool was wonderful and we used the grill several times. We enjoyed our family time and would do it again in a heartbeat! Our kids had a lot of fun fishing. There are stores and restaurants within walking distance which was awesome.
Owner is very professional and responsive. They care about their customers and ensure they are on top of everything. I would definitely stay here again!
My family and I enjoyed our little getaway. Communication with owner of home was fantastic.

Why they chose this property
A group of friends vacationed in Florida quite often and loved the relaxing atmosphere it offers. We decided to buy a home away from home. Southwest Florida is far enough away from the hustle and bustle and yet so close to so much. We stay at the house a few times a year and it is harder to leave each time. Whether you are looking to simply relax in the pool or go out and explore, there is so much to do...minutes from Ft Myers Beach and a short boat ride to Sanibel Island, there is something for everyone. We hope you enjoy our vacation home as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
There is dock space available for keeping boat rentals at the property (property is on a quiet canal that connects to Caloosahatchee River). My favorite thing to do is wake up early and take a 10 minute bike ride to the pier, grab a coffee and watch the sunrise over the Caloosahatchee River while the baby dolphins make a morning appearance. We also enjoy taking a boat ride and exploring the nearby islands.
