About this property

Amazing Grace! Near Tail of Dragon

Moutain top cabin. Just 5 minutes to the Tail of the Dragon and about 12 minutes to Bryson City and Harrah’s casino. Also a short drive to the Nantahala Outdoor Center!

The double sided stone fireplace with wood burning outside and gas inside goes to the top of this cabin. Amazing views from Front Porch with rockers to enjoy the view! Back porch has propane gas grill, wood burning fire pit and table & chairs.
Inside our cabin is 4 bedrooms, 3 King masters and a bunk bed/recreation room!
This cabin is secluded yet very convenient. It's only minutes to the Nantahala River or the Tsali mountain biking trails. Riders will love the proximity to the Tail of the dragon road. Boaters will love the proximity to Almond Boat Park Fontana Lake!

Your kitchen is appointed with all modern new appliances including dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker, convection oven, toaster. We also provide you with all the dishes, utensils and cooking tools you'll need. A gas grill is provided for BBQ connoisseurs. The great room features large living and dining area with table suitable for seating for 10. The modern-rustic décor features comfy sofas and a real wood-burning/stone fireplace. There is satellite dish for WiFi. (bring your own music or listen to one of the dozens of digital music channels provided by digital satellite). The open loft overlooks the living area. Each bed has luxury memory foam mattresses & -cotton linens.

First floor includes, kitchen, dining, laundry closet and 2 master King bedrooms one with walk in shower. The upstairs consist of an enclosed king bedroom with its own bathroom (railing looks down over the living room). There is a bunk bed room/rec room that has 2 twin/full beds. There is Wifi in the entire cabin but mountain service can be a little slower than you are used to and sometimes it's great and sometimes it's not. The road is dirt & gravel but most vehicles can make it.

The property was exactly what we were looking for. Cozy but plenty of space o For 11 people not to be in the way of each other. We did family meals together, we decorated cookies, and made s'more's outside. Away from most things but still close enough to get to things we wanted to do. We really enjoyed this location.

Gorgeous mountain cabin!

Gorgeous mountain cabin! Views were beautiful and the was very clean and felt like home! Cheri provided a fully outfitted kitchen as well as cozi throw blankets for an evening in the family room or on the front porch rocking chairs. Cheri was available and attentive to our needs. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the long weekend getaway! Thank you Cheri for being such a great hostess!

Car guys getaway

The cabin was everything we were looking for. Plenty of room for 7 guys and 4 vehicles. The driveway is rocky but if you can drive you will be ok with most cars. 2 mustangs made it in. Far enough away from reality to relax but close enough to what we needed. Spent the day riding around and sat by the fire at night. Definite possibility of a return stay.

Cozy Mountain Home

Everything was fabulous. The owner is very responsive to any questions we had. The cabin seems to be built recently & is beautiful. It is very well stocked with any and all cooking utensils, pots and pans & other kitchen items. Extremely comfortable beds. Wonderful accommodations all around. We were in the area for a car event based around the Tail of the Dragon. Only issues we had, and this is only due to the nature of the vehicles we brought (sports cars that are lower than your average vehicle), was the driveway going from the main road to the cabin. I wish it was stated in the ad that the road was as rough as it was, but I should have asked before booking the property so it is not the owners fault. If your car is of the same nature as the ones we brought you may have issues traversing the road up to the cabin, but any “normal” vehicle will do just fine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would definitely re-book this property. Thanks Cheri!
