Historic Home Renovated with all the Modern Amenities located within a quaint neighborhood less than 5 minutes to great restaurants, exciting museums, and local attractions like Wake Forest University, Reynolda Village, SECCA Art Museum, Old Salem, and Downtown Winston Salem. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun and relaxation!
The space
Having spent many months searching for the perfect property, Polo Place, an expansive 1927 historic home, stole my heart. I am thrilled to offer this home to large families and guests seeking a peaceful workcation or for small, intimate celebrations where guests can experience the charms and nostalgia of this home and the surrounding area.
Living Spaces
In the front sitting room, you’ll find every piece of furniture carefully chosen and arranged with intention. This spacious and uncluttered space provides a great place to watch a movie on the large flat-screen TV or kick off your shoes, curl up on the couch and read a great book (or maybe write your own best seller.)

65” Roku flat-screen TV
Nest-enabled A/C
Remote-controlled ceiling fan

One of the shining features of this home is its beautiful formal dining room. Restored with gorgeous finishes, chair rail, and an antique buffet where you’ll find a fully stocked coffee and tea bar, so whether you prefer a coffee in the morning or a tea mid-day, you’ll have everything you need for the perfect “cuppa.”

Each room has been decorated to feel as though you’ve checked into a 5-star boutique hotel with elevated furnishings, comfortable yet supportive mattresses, and linens that make you want to nestle in and linger for a while. Wherever your day takes you, rest assured there’s a luxurious bedroom waiting for you when you get home.
Primary Bedroom #1 - Upper Level
This pristine bedroom is a dream with all the charm and detail you’d expect from a late 1920s Dutch Colonial home. When you first enter the room, you’ll be smitten by the striking wrought iron king-sized bed and conversation area with upholstered chairs for intimate chats or relaxing before you start your day. It’s the perfect private oasis for yourself or you and your partner. Not to be outshone by the decadence of the bedroom, there’s also a gorgeous ensuite bathroom with a combined shower and tub, fluffy towels, and premium toiletries by Public Goods.
Guest Bedroom #2 - Upper Level
Get cozy in this relaxing upstairs bedroom featuring a queen-sized bed with a modern headboard and two side tables with reading lights, so you can do a little reading before bed or snuggle up, turn on the large flat-screen TV and get lost in a movie. This room also shares access to the hall bathroom with double vanities and a combined shower and tub.
Guest Bedroom #3 - Upper Level

This bedroom features a sumptuous queen-sized bed and an office space for staying up to date with any work. There’s also an ensuite half bathroom with a beautiful brand-new pedestal sink and fixtures.
