About this property

Historic home in Grace Park

From your first steps onto this property, you know you are looking at something special. Before you even enter the house, there will be no question that staying in a historic home of this stature is a rarity. This residence has been carefully renovated to retain the original charm of 1920 and preserve history, while including modern updates and conveniences.

The home sits on a charming street corner downtown, and as a guest, you will get the unique opportunity of being situated between a sprawling city park with a gazebo and mature trees, and award winning restaurants and breweries. The location allows for the convenience of being in the middle of everything fun without the noise of being in the center of downtown.

The decor of the home compliments the antiquity, so you feel as if you are in a different era. Large, beautiful windows are found throughout the home, making it bright and open and allowing for great views of this enchanting neighborhood. The spaciousness of this 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom house allows for the chance to get away while still providing the comforts of home. It is large enough that everyone can stay together under one roof, but with the home spanning three floors, there is enough space for you and your traveling companions to spread out. Just down the stairs is an incredible basement with a bedroom and bathroom, laundry room, and sprawling common area with plenty of seating and a 70-inch television for watching shows or movies. Additionally, you will find another living room with a TV on the main floor.

If you wish to stay in and cook, the kitchen has brand new appliances and all the utensils, pots/pans, small appliances - and even spices- you need to make breakfast, lunch or dinner! You can eat together in the adjacent dining room or spread out into the patio that is just out back for al fresco dining! There is also a swing on the back patio for relaxing outdoors or enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening.

You will appreciate tasteful touches throughout the home that make this an extra special getaway. Everything you might need to feel comfortable are at your disposal, including freshly laundered towels and sheets, cozy blankets, a sound machine, laundry room with washer/dryer and detergent, comfortable beds and K-Cups to go with the Keurig. For those traveling with babies, we also provide a crib, changing table, baby bathtub and high chair for your convenience. There is even a place to work in the basement, with a desk in the bedroom. In addition, there is a place for one car to park in the driveway and plenty of on-street parking.

To maintain the quality of this home and keep a hypoallergenic environment, there are no pets allowed. Smoking, drugs and parties are not permitted.

We would love for you to add to the many memories that have already been made here. Our entire team is here to serve you, so let us know if we can help!

8 of us stayed here for a wedding. We were here 2 nights. It was the perfect location. Loved that the kitchen had coffee for the mornings. Restaurants are in walking distance and the parking was easy. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that we were short a bath towel and hand towels in bath off of the kitchen from check-in until the next afternoon. It did come in time to get ready for the wedding. And extra towels were brought. A hand towel per person would be nice. Also the front door knob kept falling off and I did message that a few times. We would stay here again.
