Home is located on a unique and private bend of the lake and provides an incredible water view and perspective.

As for this listing, there is plenty of room to sleep 12 comfortably! This home has 7 beds that sleep 12 as well as a pull-out couch for extra bedding if needed. See below for more details on sleeping/bedroom arrangements.
Relax in the screened in porch! Don't forget to indulge in some Smore' making by the backyard fire pit!

This home is fully equipped for groups that love to cook. There is one Fully Stocked kitchen! The main floor and newly renovated kitchen are fully stocked. There is also a gas grill on the balcony and propane can is provided but not the gas if there is none at arrival!

Guests enjoy plenty of space to have their meals! In the kitchen you will have a large dining room table for 8 as well as an island with two barstools! There is also a large table on the deck overlooking the water (6-8 people). The dock also has a smaller 4-person table.

The house was designed with the water in mind!

The bedroom/sleeping layout is as follows:

Dining Room/Kitchen: Fully stocked Kitchen with Dining room for seating for 10 people

If you need room for more, there is a pull-out couch in the front "Game" room!

All the lake house essentials are covered! Linens and bath/lake towels are included. Washer/dryer unit as well!

- One boat lift and power jet ski lift available on request if you bring your own boat or just tie up on the dock.

BOAT RENTAL:
The boat rental will start and end right on the dock, can't get more convenient. We encourage you to rent the boat for your full stay. The boat is $350 a day or $2000 for a week.

We also have a Jet-Ski Rental for $300 per day or $1800 per week.

Let us know if you're interested so we can plan for the additional logistics. Boat renters should have previous boating experience and have a valid Boater's License or born on/before 1988!

Had a Great Experience

Everything was as described. Very nice house in a quiet location. Marc was right there for every step of the process and was very quick to answer us with any questions we had. If you are looking for a first class rental house on Gaston Lake you won't be disappointed here.

Family Vacation

We had the best time together at Better Lake Than Never! The house was spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked, the kids' room was perfect and the lake was amazing! The kids in our party used the paddle boards and the kayaks every day of our stay! The house is located on a cul-de-sac and the kids played lacrosse in the street each day! We loved sitting in the screened porch or on the dock all day and then sitting around the firepit at night! Marc was very responsive and accommodating. We would love to stay at this home again!

Family Vacation

Pros: Very nice house in a nice neighborhood, easy walk down to the water. Close to public boat ramp, with deep water. Nice dock for swimming and fishing. Dock has two boat lifts and one jet ski lift. Cons: about a 1/4 mile no wake zone from home to main lake for boating or jet skiing, no gas pump on lake near by so take your own fuel, nearest grocery store is in South Hill about a 20 mile drive. Over all house is very nice with fully equipped kitchen for cooking.

Kick back and enjoy!

Don’t go for the view or close proximity to the grocery store. Do go for a very comfortable, kid and pet friendly vacation. You’ll have everything you need for your stay. Loads of plush towels, comfy beds, plenty of games, and a well-stocked kitchen made us feel at home. Great fishing right off the dock! If you can, rent a boat, at least for a few days.

Memories Made

Our family had an unbelievable time. Every single item we needed was already there plus more. Great location, great layout in the home and communication with the property manager was SO easy which was a plus. Easy drive to Dollar General and Food Lion too for last minute items for the family. Highly recommend!!!
