This was such a comfy/cozy place that my girls trip never left the place beyond a grocery trip. We spent the whole weekend curled up reading, crafting, working on a puzzle, and cooking together. The only con is that you’re not on a river, so being in the area we were, it wasn’t as convenient to utilize the springs.

The house is light, bright and welcoming. But the attention to detail is not there. There were a few issues with the house when we arrived, dryer didn’t work, primary bath ceiling fan didn’t work. The owner resolved the dryer. For Homosassa, this is probably the best place we could have found for the price and it’s great for a weekend stay or if you have a boat that you could utilize the slip.

Hurricane Relief

We were looking for a nice place on the nature coast while our home in St Petersburg was being repaired after last year’s hurricane. We needed a kitchen where we could prepare meals, and a living space to relax. This villa was beautiful and we were able to cook, walk the neighborhood, see the sites, and eat some delicious scallops and grouper. Loved the decor, which was also very comfortable. Thanks for having us!

The property is within a riverfront community. You can bring your own boat and have access to a community boat slip or one of the few nearby Marinas. The river offers many restaurants to choose from, where you can park your boat, have a nice bite and continue your journey. And you can swim with manatees just a few minutes from the Villa.
