Spacious PA Wilds Getaway! Water views, firepit w/ covered patio
You can do it all here...or you can do nothing at all.
Take part in world class trout fishing, ogle PA's native elk population up close, mud it up on the nearby ATV trails, hop in your 'yaks for a refreshing trip down the Sinnemahoning Creek, trek for miles on the endless scenic trails interconnected through the mountains or...settle in on a cozy rocking chair with a refreshing beverage and experience PA's breathtaking beauty right from your porch.
Bull Hollow is nestled within the town of Driftwood, PA - centrally located in the PA Wilds along the famous Bucktail Highway, just a few minutes from Benezette - the Elk capital of the northeastern US, and Stevenson Dam at Sinnemahoning State Park - known for its 145-acre lake and its large bald eagle population.
With the magnificent Driftwood Branch of the Sinnemahoning Creek calling out to you just mere feet from the front porch, you'll be hard pressed to find a reason not to take a trip downstream (River tubes and five kayaks w/ paddles are available for your enjoyment.)
All the amenities pictured are available for use. Grill out under the large, covered patio, sip your morning coffee from the porch, challenge your loved ones to a fun game of foosball or cornhole. Lounge the night away in a comfy Adirondack chair by a warm campfire. Stargaze under some of the darkest skies in the eastern United States...or cuddle up with the family and loved ones in the great room for a movie on the 70-inch HD TV.
All towels and linens are provided. A washer & dryer are available during your stay for your convenience.
Though most prefer to unplug and relax, high speed internet/Wi-Fi is available to all Bull Hollow guests.
As you are deeply immersed and surrounded by PA's wild and wondrous beauty, cellular coverage may be spotty depending on your provider.
Parking is plentiful and free during your stay, of course. A word of advice, though, to guests - park along the bushes to the side of the house to avoid blocking your water view.
Though the home is equipped with smoke detectors, fire extinguishers on each floor and a first aid kit, the nearest hospital, located in Emporium, is nearly a 30-minute drive. Furthermore, the closest grocery store is also located in Emporium, so plan your meals accordingly.
Please note that there are NO bathrooms or bedrooms located on the ground floor of the home. All guests must be able to maneuver and climb stairs to access both amenities.

Had a very relaxing stay. Was the perfect size for our family. Plenty of room in the yard for the kids to play and having the fire pit for s’mores was an added plus. The owner was very responsive to our questions prior to arrival.
Amy is such a gracious & responsive host and the family absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous spot! Plenty of space for everyone to spread out & enjoy the beautiful views and also so well equipped for us to prepare & share meals as a group after a full day of boating & fishing on the lovely stream. Definitely looking forward to the next time we can get together here for a longer stay!!
This is a beautiful stay with a lot of space! We had a house full of hunters and the house served us well! Great spot with no complaints! Amy was fantastic to deal with, great communication and always willing to answer the questions we had! 10/10 recommend this house!! Thanks for a great experience!
The house was exactly like the pictures it was clean and the entry process was also easy just minor cobwebs here and there the neighbors were very friendly

Ariana,
Thank your for the positive review! We hope that you enjoyed yourselves and would love to have you again in the future.
The house is a older house and would be hard for older people since there is no bedroom or bathroom on the 1st floor. The house was very clean and well stocked with the essentials. The beds were very comfortable. We had a great time using the house as home base for our elk viewing trip.
We so enjoyed our stay and it was the perfect place for our families. It was exactly as pictured, fully stocked kitchen, spacious living spaces, and even a bunch of games in the living room. We spent a lot of time in the creek and out using the huge side yard. We got to see two bull elk Friday night that came across the creek and right up in front of the house. The neighborhood people were so friendly and chatted with us quite a bit throughout the weekend. We’re hoping to stay here again in the future.
Plain and simple, liked location. Now that we learned somethings would stay in this area again, even this property. Didn't know if we needed to clean up more. Thanks for listening or house.
House was spacious, clean, very nicely decorated, and stocked with linens, kots of kitchen items, and games. Creek across the road was awesome for the kids to play in, and tubing was fun, nice that some tubes and kayaks are provided. We visited late July, and the 3rd floor master bedroom was crazy hot with only one window unit, and therefore we could not sleep up there. The grill had not been previously cleaned, and was actually broken. We notified the owner, who said they would see if a neighbor could take a look at it, but nobody came.
There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. With the creek right across the street the location was great. The neighbors were very nice and friendly.
The fire ring would have been nice but it was full of weeds and stuff cut off the bank and the firewood was so large and nothing to split it was available.
The kitchen floor and the 3rd floor commode should have been cleaned better.
Over all we had a good time.
Thank you
Ray and Pat

We liked the house and it fit our family well. Location was one we were familiar with. The house had a terrible smell when we arrived. We had to keep the windows open to air it out. We did not get any check out instructions. I had to text owner for instructions..

We apologize for the unpleasant smell that you experienced. We are unsure what caused it but glad you were able to diffuse it by opening the windows. We are happy to report that all guests since that time have not reported anything like that so it should be rectified.
You may be unaware, but VRBO ratings are different than hotel ratings as a 3 out 5 stars indicates that there were “major problems” during your stay and that they should be rectified before renting it again. Since you stated that you enjoyed the house and that it fit your family well, we do not believe that the 3-star rating is warranted.
Thank you for staying at Bull Hollow. We hope that you consider us again for a future stay.
We spent a great week in a beautiful area, in a great house. Actually, this was our second stay there. Started the week with 2 old friends from Pittsburgh, then finished with 3 of our children and a grandson. The house met all of our expectations. Being able to walk out the door to fish and being able to walk down the street to the bar were bonuses. The weather wasn't the best, but, all in all, the week was wonderful. We also spent a day going to Penns Cave, about 1-1/2 hours of a super scenic drive away. Daughter-in-law, Angie, caught a "huge" (18") small mouth bass right in front of the house.
