Vacation like you live here in our New 3 bedroom 2 bath condo at Pajaro Dunes Resort! This condo is newer to our rental program and just went through some great upgrades including fresh paint throughout the home, as well as new flooring. This home is perfect for a family get together with plenty of space and it sleeps up to 7. Our modern/family style condo comes with a 65" Smart LG TV with cable and DVD player to spend some quality time. Enjoy the ocean breeze and wake up with the sound of the waves as your alarm clock.

Our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to stay at home and cook some delicious meals. Want to BBQ? Take advantage of the full size propane BBQ out on the deck! We provide propane complimentary. The master bedroom has a King bed with a smart TV, one guest bedroom has a Queen, the 3rd bedroom has a set of Twin bunks + 1 Twin. The master bathroom consists of a walk in shower, and the guest has a tub to relax in! This home is on the first level making it easily accessible to the beach where you can start your day and end your day with a stroll on the beach! Our condo faces Monterey, which means beautiful sunrises.

Spend your evenings admiring the greenery on your very own deck where you can listen to the sound of the waves. All pillows, linens, towels and beach towels are provided. Stop by our gift store where you can find breakfast foods, beer & wine, comfy beach clothing, gifts, souvenirs, and great kites! Located in a gated community with an attendant 24 hours a day gives the comfort of a peaceful and quiet vacation.

Spend family fun playing Pickle Ball, tennis or basketball with courts located on site. Stop by our lobby where we offer an assortment of loaner sports equipment for our renters including pickle ball sets!

Conveniently located between Monterey and Santa Cruz makes for great day trips to enjoy fresh clam chowder at the wharf, the aquarium, boardwalk, and Cannery Row.

Located in such a beautiful, rural location, the Pajaro Dunes is truly a hidden gem that one must visit.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Return furniture to its original position. Close all window coverings. Turn off all appliances and heaters.
After loading the dishwasher, please do not leave any dishes behind in the sink.
Remove all recycling from home to outside bins.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Awesome property

Great location, great condo and supper clean. definitely recommend this place. It was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. the check-in process and communication was great. It was steps away from the ocean.

Excellent Condo

Wonderful condo for our family, adults and children. Not beachfront, but just steps away. Supplies were abundant, everything you would need & more. Peaceful. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Perfect ground level condo

This was the cleanest condo I’ve ever stayed in. Appreciated there were no stairs. It is so hard to find ground floor condos. Loved the location and the kitchen was well stocked. Easy access to the beach, was amazing.

Another great stay at Pajaro Dunes.

My wife, kiss and I stay at Pajaro Dunes three or four times a year. This stay was at Shorebirds. Vrbo does not allow me to state the unit number, but It is a spacious three bedroom on the first level. We brought some older relatives. Everyone enjoyed the week. The room was clean, roomy and well appointed. It has no ocean view, but is literally steps from the beach. Looking forward to our next stay at the Dunes.

Just as advertised

This property was just as it was advertised. The kitchen was even more stocked than I expected. Warning if you have an electric car - they have very limited charging stations! We could charge on Thu, but once the weekend arrived, we could not get access to the chargers.

Weekend getaway

We’ve stayed a few times at pajarro dunes just not this resort, so we were excited to see what we rented. Love that it’s gated, check in ladies were so nice and great to answer our questions. Loved facility it right on ocean/beach but be careful to pay attention to full details of rental, not all home have ocean views. Ours faced parking lot and I thought it had views of ocean. Pictures made the place look nice and bright but really felt dark like a dungeon. And bedding in one bedroom was not washed. Unit did have enough dishes and great space for our 6 adults. But this resort is really nice and quiet, great to relax. Just bummed at how much we paid and couldn’t see ocean from unit.

Good resort-style

The property was fine - the fixtures and bathrooms are dated, but furniture and decor are really nice. The beds were very comfy and the towels soft and thick! We had two main issues - one was the very (very very) thin ceiling. We were in a ground floor unit and could hear every step in the unit above. It would be great if that unit was empty, but it seemed that another family with younger kids was there. It was a lot. The other issue is because we didn't do our homework to realize how COLD the ocean is at this point in Cali! We wondered why we struggled to find out if it was OK to swim from this beach - the answer is yes, but, it is cold so you likely won't want to! Still managed to catch a bit of sunburn, but not exactly the mental picture I had. The resort feel is a bit snobby for us but is as advertised. We finished the visit with a beach bonfire that was graciously comped by Pajaro because they had to turn off the water for a few hours for maintenance. Kudos to their customer support, and trust me, the bonfire was worth it! Sitting on the beach with the hubs watching the stars - perfection!
