We enjoyed a beautiful week in the keys staying at this lovely home. The layout is fun, open and has lots of windows. We are a family of six, and there was ample space for us all. No one ever complained of being bored, as we enjoyed the pool, hot tub, boating and fishing everyday! We even had fun with some of the board games the home provides, and of course, the pool table was a hit. We saw manatees galore in the canal. Would definitely recommend this home for a fun family vacation as well as a place to relax, enjoy the sun, and just let all your worries melt away!
Great ocean side location. Short boat ride to sombrero reef and close to land based activities and great restaurants. Property is clean and well maintained.
Great place to stay, Gail is awesome! Full of info for great dining. Plenty of kitchen items, you lack for nothing! So glad we stayed just wish it was longer.
The property was clean and well stocked with towels, etc. the property manager was very helpful and communicative- she even reminded me when it was trash day! 10/10 rental!
House was very nice & located near everything, getting in & out of canal was a challenge at first but we eventually got it :-) Can't go wrong in the Keys!!
100% the best and most accurately descrived rental ive ever used, it made me feel like i was home, will definitely be back, the canal is loaded with life, its dead center of everything you could ever need while vacationing and the pool/hottub was t were an amazing feature to enjoy after a long day exploring the keys. 100% recommend to anyone looking to have a resort feel but the pricacy of your own home. Margie the host is wonderful and gail the property manager was pgenomenal

Thank you Zach for such a wonderful review - looking forward to having you back!
This house was perfect for our family of four. The pictures are exactly what the home looks like. The hot tub and pool were in pristine condition. The pool was heated and we saw up to 4 manatees in the canal behind the home at any given time. We would definitely stay here again.

Worse house in 12 years
The front door is glass so at night anyone going by can see in. We taped a sheet up every night. The only way to get to the pool was going out the front door and down the stairs. We felt we had to have a cover on just to go down to the pool. We couldn't go to the pool after dark due to the mosquitoes. My granddaughters were unable to fish off the dock as the canal behind the house is totally disgusting. A neighbor told us there are no fish in the canal due to no oxygen. The kitchen needs blinds. While in the kitchen the people across the canal can look in, no privacy. We had doughnuts and cookies on the counter, but they got hard due to the sun beating on them all day.

Anna, a 4/10 is a bit harsh since the rating is mostly based on things out of our control: Bugs, fish and sun. But, thank you for the opportunity to clarify a few points for future guests.
Bugs. The Keys has a pretty good handle on mosquito control. But no-see-ums are a nuisance all over. A little bug spray goes a long way. We don't provide it, there are a number of stores nearby where it can be acquired.
Fish. The Keys is known for fishing - mainly off or near shore. For guests bringing boats, we promote quick ocean access. There are fish in our canal but current is minimal. I can understand how lack of experience may factor into unrealistic expectations. We encourage those shopping for a vacation rental to take time to read the listings and find a location based on personal priorities. For example, if your priority is getting your boat out to sea, a location with a deep water canal may not provide quick ocean access. No wake zones can take boaters up to 45 min - 1 hour just to get out to sea just to start making their way to a fishing spot. From this location, it will take just a few minutes!
Sun. The natural sun light adds to the charm of this delightful space. There is ample storage in the kitchen for those that prefer to put their food away. On the point of privacy: Both the front door and kitchen are up one level from the street. It would be a strain for anyone to see in even if they wanted to. But, we appreciate this feedback and will consider your decor suggestion. Thank you!
