Overall our stay was really great. However, the place was listed as a space that has bunkbed, and in reality that was not true. One of our guests ended up on an air mattress in the livingroom (the host provided this) but it wasn't ideal. Would be great if the listing had be updated with the change to a trundle bed. Unfortunately we tried the dish washer, and it did not work. We ran it 3 times and dishes were still filthy. We ended up washing dishes by hand and buying our own dish soap.
It was a LOVELY neighborhood, and we enjoyed the kitchen and dining room. The laundry was very helpful for us on this trip and otherwise really loved our stay here and in Juneau. The host was responsive with our communication about the lack of a fourth bed and provided the air mattress and extra bedding.
It was a great place to stay! Very quiet and had everything we needed. Would stay there again!

We are a family of 6 including our cat Skippy. My husband and I both graduated from Juneau Douglas High School and the University of Alaska Southeast. We love the community of Juneau and all it offers.
Why they chose this property
Tom loves this property for its location at the end of a quiet street in a nice neighborhood close to the Mendenhall River. It is one story with a flat lot and plenty of parking. He also likes that it is close to glacier lakes and Auke Bay Harbor for fishing. While working on the property, I found I enjoyed hearing the sound of the Mendenhall River and the occasional "Whoo hoo" of rafters going through the rapids.
