We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Easy access to downtown but be prepared for walking the steep streets. The place was very clean and had great communication with the owner. Also, be ready to climb 42 steps up to the unit. It was a very quiet neighborhood.
Lovely apartment with thoughtful touches in a great location
My aily of 3 stayed in this top floor apartment. Great location, short walk to a grocery store, park, trails, restaurants. Apartment is spotless and is a lovingly restored old house. All tbe appliances are like new or are new, kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfy, views are great. Thoughtful touches like super plush towels, nice toilet paper not the cheap stuff, keurig with lots of kcups, kettle, teas, and a moka espresso pot which is what we used. This place is one the best vrbos Ive ever stayed at.

About the host
Hosted by Corey Murphy
My name is Corey Murphy and I'll be your host! This property is very special to our family as it was my Grandma's house so I have many early childhood memories throughout the building. I was born and raised in Juneau, lived in Oregon and Ireland in my 20s and then moved back to start a family in my 30s. If you need any recommendations from a local, I'm your gal!
Why they chose this property
This is a very vibrant, friendly neighborhood known as Starr Hill! Enjoy the peace and quite with great views right at the base of Mt. Roberts!
What makes this property unique
There are not a lot of "old" things in Alaska as compared to other areas of the world, so this historic building that is more than 100 years old is full of charm and fun nooks and crannies!
