Fantastic host who thought of everything. Easy process with this owner, we arrived to a clean home, nothing out of place. Well appointed and had pretty much everything we would need for a week away. The house had great WiFi and excellent cell phone service. The beds were comfy and the house in general just worked well. We enjoyed coffee over looking the lake in the mornings and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit at night. For anyone renting just be aware there are a great number of steps down/up from the house to the parking area so older or handicapped individuals may not want to rent this place. Same for the path down to the water it is a great number of steps and requires a sure footed person to navigate it. The dock and swimming area were incredible and well maintained. The property had chairs and tables everywhere outside that you would need/want them so no need to pack your own. The owner was very responsive and answered questions right away. Hope to book again some day!
The property, accessories and the lake provides everything you"ll need to have an enjoyable stay. If you don't have a great time then it's either the company or maybe you are just not a lake person.
The home is in a perfect location—right on the lake and a five-minute drive to the adorable, quaint town center with terrific restaurants, a cafe, shops, and a fantastic bakery.
We spent most of our days on the lake whether we were kayaking, paddle boarding, hanging on the water trampoline or just swimming. I still can't believe how clean and clear the lake water is! Apparently, it is the second cleaniest lake in the country, The other lake is in Texas. The area is quiet and peaceful. It was nice to sit on the deck at night with the fire pit on and admire the evening view. It was also convenient to be close to a few vineyards. The home has all the daily convenience you need, a stock kitchen, washer/dryer, AC, large TV with ca le, decent wifi, and a barbecue. The owner is easy to contact and accommodating, the ice machine in the fridge wasn't working and immediately bags of ice were delivered. The only issue I had was the place should have been cleaned better.
