Located only 25 miles North of Ithaca and in between Cayuga Lake and Seneca Lake, the sprawling Town of Ovid is in close proximity to some of Upstate New York's finest wineries– both those on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail and the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. This region is particularly known for world-renowned Reislings, so be sure to pick up a bottle! With the success of wine tourism in this area, we have also seen the emergence of impressive distilleries, cideries, and breweries. Be sure to pop in at Liquid State Brewing Company just north of the property for craft beer and live music,
and Finger Lakes Cider House just south of the property for hard cider, live music, and farm-to-table eats.

This townhome is neatly tucked against Cayuga Lake and adjacent to Route 89, so you will have easy access to the universities, restaurants, locally-owned shops, farmers markets and state parks in the neighboring towns of Ithaca (34 minutes), Trumansburg (18 minutes) and Seneca Falls (21 minutes). The master bedroom and second bedroom in each unit have large windows for you to enjoy the unbeatable view of Cayuga Lake, and the master bedroom has a full ensuite bathroom. Small touches of custom design throughout each are sure to heighten your vacation experience and have you immediately wanting to book your next stay.

6 full contemporary bathrooms on the second floors and 3 half-bath on the first floors allow guests to spread out to enjoy their own space. The master bathroom offers a tub and shower combo, and the second full bathroom offers a tiled walk-in shower. Each are appointed with a hair dryer, paper products and hand soap, but be sure to bring your own toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Stroll down our seasonally maintained walking trail to take advantage of 800 feet of Cayuga Lake shoreline! Bring your kayaks, skip rocks, or just take in the view. For those guests feeling more adventurous, try a polar plunge! The trail has a healthy incline when you return from the water, so be sure you have comfortable footwear. The lake frontage and 11-acre property is shared only among 4 townhomes, so feel free to spread out! And if you are looking for a busier beach atmosphere, there are public marinas, beaches, and lakefront restaurants just a few miles away. For those wishing to visit the lakefront please be warned there is a steep winding trail and no amenities.

☆☆ OUTSIDE SPACE ☆☆
The townhome is sited on 11 wooded acres and boasts 800 feet of Cayuga Lake shoreline shared only among 4 townhomes, so get out and explore! In addition to the walking trail to the lake, there is an open field for outdoor games in the spring and summer. And when you’re ready for evening s’mores or a glass of wine, there is a private patio with a fire pit and Adirondack chairs overlooking the lake. Open the glass doors from the dining room area and step out onto the cozy balcony
which offers comfortable seating and lake views. For those wishing to visit the lakefront please be warned there is a steep winding trail and no amenities.

There is parking on the premises for up to three vehicles. While a few wineries can be reached on foot (with good walking shoes and a great attitude), most activities will require transportation. The nearest taxi service is based in Ithaca, NY, but private wine tour companies are available to transport your group to as many sites as you can fit in a day!
