What a unique experience! I always wondered about what life on a houseboat in that area would be like. The space was immaculate, furnishings top notch and very comfortable. The host provided all the information we needed to know and was always available for questions.

Nothing but a perfect place to stay in Mill Valley. Bus service to Sausalito, its ferry and San Francisco almost on the hour. Next to exciting Sea Plane Adventures aircraft. Wonderful VRBO manager. Don't stay in S.F.
What a gem. The location was perfect. We were just a few miles from darling Sausalito with the great shopping, eating and strolling. We caught the ferry to San Fran from there also. So easy! The condo was well appointed. Small but plenty of space for two. And the views! I can't say enough. We would stay again.
Loved this spot! The view was incredible and the location was ideal for trails and access to the city. Perfect place to experience the best of the area.
A great experience to be right on the water. The property was super clean, with a huge comfortable bed. Harold gave plenty of instructions for parking and accessing the property.
Houseboat was incredible! Trust the GPS directions provided as we arrived later in the afternoon and it was getting dark. If you are not from the area you could get a little lost. Look for the Seaplanes and you are good!! Houseboat is right off the Mill Valley/Sausalito bike path. We rode our e-bikes EVERYWHERE and it was the best. The accommodations are amazing and we were so happy! Highly recommend!!
The house boat was very clean and quiet. Right on the water with a sea plane next door. During our stay the plane never left. Neighbors were quiet and it is about a 2 mile walk to Sausalito. We would stay there again.
What a beautiful location, so much to see and do around the area. Host communicated great places to visit, excellent restaurant recommendations and more. What a cozy, cool and unique place to stay when visiting the bay area. Highly recommend!
This is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. Super clean, neat, cozy yet roomy and the views spectacular. We enjoyed our stay very much. The bed was comfortable. The owner was top notch in communication via app but also with a notebook with answers to allYour questions. THIS FLOATING CONDO IN SAUSALITO DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!
I needed a home away from home for a couple nights and I got just that. The houseboat has everything you will need to have a comfortable stay. It was like being in my house! The owners have clear instructions and were great with communication.
More fun than a hotel and was the same price or even cheaper. Took an uber into the town of Sausalito both nights we stayed, easy and convenient. Took the Mill Valley-Sausalito path to the Tamalpais Valley Junction, great coffee & lunch spots. The views were beautiful and fun to watch the seaplane take off and land. Would definitely recommend.
Seaplanes, Bay Views, and Breakfast Strolls: A Soaring Success!
We had an exceptional experience at this property, which matched the description perfectly. Parking was a breeze, and locating the lockbox with the keys was straightforward. The interior was spotless and cozy, offering more amenities than we anticipated. The stunning views of the bay and the nearby sea-plane dock were truly spectacular! The exterior deck provided an excellent spot for watching birds and airplanes, adding to the charm of our stay.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we were well-rested each morning. We loved the convenient access to a nearby paved trail, which made for a delightful walk into Sausalito for breakfast. Additionally, the property’s proximity to Highway 101 made traveling north and south a hassle-free experience.
The host was wonderfully communicative, providing clear instructions for parking (considering the tides) and detailed information on accessing and operating everything in the unit.
Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Thank you for the very kind words! You were the kind of guest that makes it rewarding to be a host, and you left everything in such good shape that we could hardy tell you’d been there! Thank won all counts!
This was right on the water and literally every window had water views. (Note: there are 4 units and I think some have water views from only some windows). I was very impressed with the attention to detail. This is an older houseboat but 100% modern reno inside. It had a washer dryer, induction stove, oven, microwave, full-size fridge/freezer, and actually two dishwashers. The bed was comfortable if a little firm. We had a wraparound deck (narrow but usable) with big comfortable chairs.overlooking the water. The bathroom was clean and functional, but as it is a houseboat there was a little odor, nothing too bad but you noticed it when you entered and then quickly forgot about it. Also, Harold is very good about warning you about tides but it's a reality there and you do have to be careful where you park.It is not walking distance to much, but a very short drive to lots of stuff. I would caution that if you plan to spend most of your time in downtown Sausalito (ie. the place you've seen all the photos of) this condo could be a great place to stay but is not walkable from there.
Out of the ordinary, certainly, and the view being the best part. Houseboat is well built out, with quality components. Very clean and uncluttered, but with all the supplies you might want to have (except for a broom) for a brief stay. Instructions from Harold were clear and comprehensive. The 101 provides traffic noise and late night lights, but the windows are substantial enough to mask off most of that.
Commodore 11 is more than place to stay. It's an experience! Whether you're inside, watching the unobstructed Bay views through the long, long windows or outside on the wrap-around deck it never stops changing. Twice each day the tides rise and fall. Birds come and go. The marine air breezes are refreshing and energizing. It's life on the water!
