Excellent
This was the perfect stay. The boulder garden glamper was clean, sturdy, beautiful, easy to find, and had quality forest views with privacy even in the campground. It was perfect for me because I have a knee injury and I did not have to worry about set up with the glamper. My dog loved it and even slept the whole night each time. Thank you so much for the amenities, for the water and coffee. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. I loved every bit of it. I would recommend to others and definitely stay again.

I was born just a few miles from the Red River Gorge. I joined the military, where I met my husband. We traved the world for 25 years in the military, then returned here after retiring. We bought this rare land 20 years ago, at a time long before the tourisum boom when nobody came to the Gorge. We built our house ourselves using our sawmill to make the lumber. We then built our 1st rental cabin. "River's Roost Riverfront Cabin", which is located directly on the Red River. Getting restless, we started "Red River Adventure", a kayak rental and campground across the road from the Glamp Camp. Our son, who had just returned home from the Iraq war was the perfect guy to take over the campground. Next we opened "Mill Creek Lake Kayak and SUP" at nearby Natural Bridge State Park. And finally, we built the "Glamp Camp" featuring luxury tent cabins. It's been a busy life.

Why they chose this property

Come to the Gorge........you will see why.

What makes this property unique

The Gorge is about 35,000 acres of rugged cliffs, deep forest and amazing wild life. There are only about a dozen owners of private property here. The combined acrerage of the private property is not more than about 200 scattered acres. Meaning that all the rest is uninhabited wildlands. On my side of the river, our nearest permanent residence is about 13 miles away. You can walk off the Glamp Camp and into the forest for miles without seeing other people. There are many vacation rentals claiming to be "in the Gorge". Don't be misled, most of them are miles away. Check you location on a map.
