Very pretty place to stay. Was not happy with the fact that it was only 50 when we got to the cabin and it took all night until 8 o’clock to heat the place up so we could be warm. We arrived on a very cold windy day, and it was very, very cold inside. Also the sleeping

Need a 9 X 13 baking pan.Kitchen, dining and living room floor not that clean.Ladder too loft is not for people our age.
If you mean because there was no repy to our inquiry about extra guests and then charging for those extra guests, then you may be right. We do not charge extra for cleaning, like most vacation rentals do. We charge for each guest greater than 2. We charge more for each guest when we are notified of extra guests because it changes the cleaning logistics. This extra gust charge is a scalable charge and covers cleaning and wear & tear on the cabin. Congratulations on the Wedding for your daughter. Kind regards, Tim & Jane
A peaceful haven, quiet, just some train noise and shaking but it wasn't disturbing at all. We loved eating on the deck surrounded by birds and tiny squirrels. We loved the ambience as well.
The property was very clean and located close to the Winery and Scenic Views of Lake Peppin! We saw a eagle up close in the trees and took a awesome video of him. There where so many cool things to do in the area! We both loved our stay!
Very nice property overall. Very nice cabin feel, with great scenery and the lake right out back. Would absolutely come back here again with my family and plan on it! Plenty of space in the property and it’s got a warm cozy feel to it.
When we got there, the VRBO app was not working so we had to call the owner but it worked out. The kitchen facilities were very good. We just needed to buy what we needed down the road. WiFi was perfect. The place was right across the road to where the wedding was being held so very convenient. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great.
Owner was very helpful, the directions for the stay were perfect. Was a pleasant, very enjoyable place to stay! Easy to get in and out. Awesome location as well.
We loved our stay at this beautiful property. The weather was perfect to enjoy the deck and we saw golden eagles and a few bald eagles from the deck. We will definitely be back!
We really enjoyed our stay, great location, very clean and had everything we needed. Our host was always quick to respond to any question I had. We would definitely stay here again!
Very welcoming, lovely cabin-esque home.Hosts are easily accessible and the home is very well stocked. We had everything we needed—dishes, banking sheets, extra toiletries, etc. The biggest deciding factor to booking was it being dog friendly. There’s a lot of places to walk your dog.
Property was very nice. Located within walking distance to the winery and all businesses in Pepin.
Very clean, in a quiet neighborhood. Loved the large deck for morning coffee and evening dinner.
Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We love the deck for the same reasons. Glad that your stay was good one!
We had the privilege of staying at this great property when we were in the area for a family wedding. The property was very clean and well equipped, and we were lucky to be able to spend a long evening out on the expansive deck in beautiful weather! The beds were very firm, but we got great sleep in this quiet neighborhood. Proximity to the winery was also a big plus for us!
We booked a little get away, just my husband and I and our dog, to Pepin, hoping to get some glimpses of eagles. Every time we went outside to walk our dog, we saw at least 5, and up to 10! The location is lovely. Though not was much open Mon - Thurs when we were there, we did eat at the Winery twice, took a trip to Buena Vista Park in Alma, and hopped over to MN to hike at Frontenac. We very much enjoyed the wood burning fireplace, beds were comfortable and the place was clean. We would stay here again.

About the host
Hosted by Tim and Jane
My wife and I bought the property in 2000 and built the cabin in 2005. We enjoy spending time here with our 6 children.
Why they chose this property
We love Pepin! The people are friendly, the scenery is awesome, and we are always reluctant to leave. Work from home? Why not make this your home for a week or the weekend? We have high bandwidth DSL WiFi to make work from a quiet , remote location easy and relaxing.
What makes this property unique
The quiet and peacefulness reign. Seeing eagles is definitely more common than not seeing an eagles! During the winter months the quiet calms frazzled nerves and there is nothing like a fire in the fireplace throughout the weekend.
