We had a great stay! The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was perfect for my son and me as we didn't need to utilize the loft. If traveling with younger children or older adults, that area would be inaccessible, very steep, ladder-like steps going up. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable.

Staying at this chalet was like taking a step back in time! First impression was it was so charming and quaint, yet it had every modern amenity you would need. It was well maintained, clean, and well stocked with extra towels and blankets. The location was perfect, with Lake Pepin at the end of the street to the right, and the winery across the road to our left!To say Pepin is a small town, there is so much to see and do! The Pickle Factory located on the marina was delish! Also noted for the best pie in the world is Stockholm Pie and General Store, 5 miles away. Make it a point to visit there as well!Our hosts were very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had from our initial booking to the morning we left.We would definitely give Where Eagles Soar a two thumbs up!

We loved the location and easy access to attractions. Just a heads up that there are lots of steps to access the main living floor. Once you get your luggage and groceries (and beverages, of course) up there it is very relaxing! It could be an issue if you have health problems. The deck is lovely and it was fun watching the rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks and birds! There was a limited view of the lake too.

Great place. We loved our stay here.. just a few details to share... fyi only, not complaints. Entry door to the house is inside the garage. Button to close both garage doors is at the far right door inside the garage. Main floor is up a set of stairs. You have to turn on water heater when you get there. Main floor has bedroom with queen and in the living room a full? Size futon. Other beds are up a ladder basically. They allow dogs but must stay off furniture and be kennelled if you leave. Just info that wasn't clear to us in the listing. The place was wonderful and met our needs. Right across the street from the winery where the wedding we attended was held.

A peaceful haven, quiet, just some train noise and shaking but it wasn't disturbing at all. We loved eating on the deck surrounded by birds and tiny squirrels. We loved the ambience as well.

Very nice property overall. Very nice cabin feel, with great scenery and the lake right out back. Would absolutely come back here again with my family and plan on it! Plenty of space in the property and it’s got a warm cozy feel to it.

Weekend Get Away

The property was very clean and located close to the Winery and Scenic Views of Lake Peppin! We saw a eagle up close in the trees and took a awesome video of him. There where so many cool things to do in the area! We both loved our stay!

Great Stay

Property was very nice. Located within walking distance to the winery and all businesses in Pepin. Very clean, in a quiet neighborhood. Loved the large deck for morning coffee and evening dinner. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
