Spacious and peaceful 3 bedroom/1 office private home by a brook on a half acre lot. Perfect for family getaways or business. Large patio with kitchen brings the indoors outdoors. Plenty of off-street parking on a tree-lined street. We are are conveniently located near Six Flags Great Adventure (10 miles), CentraState Medical Center (1 mile), Freehold Raceway Mall (2 miles), Jersey Shore -Asbury Park (17 miles) Monmouth Battlefield State Park (4 miles) Turkey Swamp Park (3 miles).

Daughters Wedding Beach Wedding!!

This property was located almost in the between Belmar Beach and the groom's parent's home where all the reception festivities were happening. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location or tranquil place to retreat afterwards. The home was spacious, beautifully decorated with an outdoor entertainment area that was right out of a Home Decorating magazine. we would have enjoyed using the the outdoor kitchen or fire pit, had we not been visited by a monsoon everyday we were there! Regardless of the weather we thoroughly enjoyed the home, the convenience to Belmar beach area, Freehold old town, and our daughters' wedding!

Better than hotel

The house was perfectly located for us in Freehold and is the only option other than iffy or old hotels within Freeholds bordersHouse is as expected and very clean but there are a few things that should be addressed to make a better experience. 1 most important the owner should consider that guests come in all sizes. If you are tall you Won’t fit on the beds. All beds have awkward foot boards And bars. I had to stick my feet thru the bars and couldn’t move without moving feet or sleeping at an awkward diagonal. It was so bad had to buy an inflatable mattress to use for our stay/ 2 the insulation in home is horrible. Yes it’s an older one but the upstairs was super warm and stuffy while you would freeze downstairs at a normal heat setting. 3 they had a plunger for the kitchen sink(odd) but NO plunger anywhere for bathroom. Outside looked great but was way too cold to use, even for the fire pitOverall the home is nice and worth price but if there was another home for rent these concerns would cause me to book elseqhere

We have been hosting various properties for over 15 years and always appreciate feedback that will help improve our guests' experience. We are very conscientious and attentive hosts who respond immediately to the needs of our guests. It's always regrettable when a guest does not have an ideal experience, and in this situation, as always, we apologize. We could have helped mitigate the issues if the guest had communicated with us, unfortunately, they never reached out. The house is actually well insulated as we recently replaced the original insulation in the attic. Regarding the temperatures in the house, we installed an advanced thermostat with sensors throughout the house which the guest has control over. A quick text or call could have easily addressed this and the plunger concern. As for the beds, we have standard sized beds. It's unfortunate that it did not suit the guest's size. We try our best to be accommodating, but realize we can only do so much in that regard. Special needs are best inquired about before making a reservation.
