Relaxing getaway with A/C, high speed wifi, kayaks, and is dog friendly.
Come enjoy your stay with friends and/or family. This home provides a secluded little piece of paradise off the beaten path. Nestled away right on Tower Pond. There's plenty to do nearby, but far enough away to come back and relax. Right close by there is the Northeastern state trail. In the winter it's open to snowmobiling and cross country skiing. In the summer it's open to bikers, hikers, and horseback riding. There's plenty of state land for hunting and so many surrounding lakes for fishing! With kayaks, paddle boat, and row boat(4 kayaks,1 paddle boat and 1 row boat) provided you could even just paddle out and do a little fishing on Tower pond. If that doesn't sound up your alley, there's also the Onaway Speedway that has some amazing events going on throughout the summer, maybe a little golf would in the books or even a trip to mackinaw. Ocqueoc Falls is about a 20 minute drive.
On the main floor there's a kids room with bunk bed (twin over full) and a twin size bed. The other room is a queen room and between the rooms is a bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. There is a collapsible tub that could be put into the shower to make a bathtub for the younger children. There's a full kitchen upstairs as well with a living room that has a sliding door going out to the deck overlooking the water.
In the basement is a parents or grandparents getaway. The king room is down there with a small living room, kitchen and bathroom. There is a door out of the basement that goes to the patio area that's under the deck. Here, there is a Charcoal and gas grill.
Down by the waters edge is a fire ring to sit and enjoy yourself. There's also a sandbox down there for the littles to enjoy while the adults sit and relax.
Do note: The house is on a dirt road and can get vehicles dirty. Also, depending on the time of year and amount of rainfall the yard can be rather wet. Around the firepit is raised enough that it remains dry. There are also 2 security cameras outside facing the doors. Very visible and motion sensored. Also, there are stairs that don't have a door to them. Young children should be supervised when around them.
We are also doing some renovations between guests. It won't interfere with your stay.

This was a great place to stay for our weekend of softball just up the road in Rogers City. Great location, house was perfect (especially the split levels), and the amenities were perfect.
Super friendly, very clean and well thought out home. From the coffee bar to the little s’mores gift. Comfortable enjoyable stay! Would definitely recommend.
We so enjoyed our stay at Teri’s place! The accommodations were perfect for our group, and there was nothing lacking! It was very clean and well appointed. Teri is a fabulous host-she was very timely in responding to our questions, and made sure to check in to see that we had everything we needed. Would love to come again!
What a great place to stay! Perfect for large or multi generational families as everyone has their own comfy spot at the end of the day. Our kids loved the pond which is not only beautiful but a great fishing hole. Many fish were caught. This place has everything you could possibly want while on vacation. Definitely considering booking a trip this fall as we enjoyed it so much!
The major thing to point out is the amount of amenity's this place offers. My wife said that the only complaint that she had was that "We over packed" lol. It was a great place to stay and a wonderful location for what we wanted to do.
This property was wonderful! There was lots of space for our family to spread out and enjoy some down time. The home had everything we needed and more. Communication was so easy with the property owner. She was quick to respond when we had questions. All around, this was one of the best stays up north we ever had!
My brothers and I and our sons just completed a very nice week at this rental. The home was clean, well stocked, very comfortable and very enjoyable. It exceeded our expectations and we hope that we will be able to do it again next year. The host was very nice and had many things in the home that we never expected. A very nice host and thank you again
Last minute booking ended up being an overall great experience. Petoskey to the west, Mackinaw City to the north, and Lake Huron to the east are all within 40 minutes. Everyone was very pleased with house and everything you could think of needing was provided, all the way down to the child’s fishing pole! Communication with the host was easy - response time was quick. Overall, a fantastic place that I would not hesitate to book in the future. 5 star stay!
Planned a short moms get away for the weekend, was absolutely blown away when we arrived, such an amazing house with everything you’d ever need for a stress free weekend! I’m already planning to come back with the kids! This is an absolute hidden gem and I’m so glad I found it! Thanks Teri for everything!
This was a perfect getaway for our family of 7 and 2 dogs! There was plenty of space for everyone and everything was very clean. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and took advantage of the paddle boat on multiple days. We loved the fire pit and really appreciated the camp chairs and roasting sticks left out for our use. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for the meals we cooked in. The coffee bar was great and very well stocked. The property is conveniently located to several area attractions. We took day trips to Mackinac Island and St. Ignace and chartered a fishing boat on Lake Huron out of Cheboygan which was a lot of fun. We explored a local waterfall (Ocqueoc), a couple public beaches and the 40 Mile Point Lighthouse (very cool site which was free). The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this property!
