HALE KONA KAI UNIT 211 SPECIAL FEATURES: TAIR CONDITIONING - The Central AC at Hale Kona Kai has been repaired and is fully functional as of 8/4/23. The unit is located on the north side of the building and therefore protected from the heat of the afternoon sun.

Ocean over lagoon front views from the lanai (balcony), you are so close you can watch the reef fish and sea turtles at play in the lagoon and the lighthouse off in the distance. The sounds of the sea will lull you to sleep after your day of sightseeing or relaxing.
Central A/C is temporarily out of order. We have installed 2 portable ACs - one in the bedroom and one in the living room. The bedroom features a king-size bed.
Condo includes high speed wifi, perfect for working remotely or just video chatting
Amenities include beach hairs, beach towels, various snorkel gear and ice chest.
Small appliances include an iron and hair dryer.
Just a short distance to the Royal Kona Resort, Huggos, Hale Kona Kai has an oceanfront pool, elevator, and BBQ area. It is a small complex of oceanfront condos in town but just off the beaten path! Located on a quiet side street (75-5870 Kahakai Road) and just a short block to . Hale Kona Kai is right next door to Honl's white sand beach and near the Kona Farmers Market. All condos are non-smoking. Hale Kona Kai is a non-smoking facility.

Great place

Fantastic location a few minutes' walk into town, lovely view of the ocean without it being directly west, you can look to the right and see the mountain in the morning. It was exactly like it looks in the pictures but there's a new non-carpet floor now. Furniture clean and comfy, new memory foam on the bed. Nice welcome bag of coffee beans, there is a grinder! Only gripe was no soap pod for the dishwasher and no dustpan.

Location!

Location is excellent. We were able to walk to the town of Kona, had great restaurants and a swap meet where we were able to pick up souvenirs at a great price. Condo was extremely clean. Loved the fact that there is a key box outside the door so you are able to keep a key in there. This helped when leaving the key in the condo. Air conditioning was welcome and worked great. If owners are looking to change anything , I would recommend to change out the toilet for a taller one. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. View was great! We were able to see many whales from the balcony.

Highly recommend!

Everything about this place was perfect. The property manager was wonderful to work with and the condo itself was clean and had everything we could possibly need. Not to mention a wonderful view from the lanai! We will definitely be returning hopefully very soon!
