Lauren was an excellent host! She answered messages quickly and was very accommodating. We loved every second of our stay - the white noise makers in all of the bedrooms were a nice touch. Highly recommend staying here!
This was a cute and spacious place to stay. The location was perfect with quick and easy access to Busch Stadium restaurants & shopping. The vibe there is definitely happy and energetic! I would definitely book this place again!
We rented this rental for a funeral and were close to everywhere we needed to be for the weekend. Host was very accommodating and responded fast. Property was decorated very nicely. I am a Chef and cooked brunch for my family the day after the funeral and I was so happy to see the host had “good seasoning” I even added 3 that I had to purchase to her collection we will stay again if in St. Louis.

Overall we enjoyed our stay Aug 2025 at the Electic City Home. Pros:- Looked just like the photos- Very clean and well cared for- Bonus toys, books and high chair for the kids- Super well stocked kitchen including kids dishware, spices, all the cooking utensils you could want, and plenty of plates, bowls, mugs etc. Plus everything was clean and new!- Great supply of towels- Beds comfy and clean- AC worked great so did hot water- Neat window blinds just push up or pull down no string hazards.- Bonus night lights and sound machines.- The guest book was super helpful and a big hit with my girls they wanted to read it as a bedtime story! We really enjoyed the before and after photos and used some of the recommendations. Amazing! - Great location it was super easy and convenient to visit City Museum, Union Station, Botanical Gardens, the Arch and the Zoo. Cons- As listed the floors are very squeaky- The narrow steep staircase to get into the unit was a surprise and we felt it was a bit dangerous but did not suffer any injuries even with wild 5 and 2 year olds. - The bathroom door didn't lock (Lauren is looking into a solution for this)Just a note about the area:- While we felt safe in our apartment, we heard distant sirens every night. The neighboring homes seemed well cared for, but a few blocks away there are boarded up businesses and decaying buildings. This apartment is right across the street from a school and we saw folks out and about walking dogs etc
What a delightful time we had visiting St. Louis. The Eclectic City Home was spotless, cozy, and the perfect accommodation for our 4night 5 day stay. It’s in a great and safe feeling location. It’s close to all touristy spots. It was especially accommodating for my 2 yr old grandson. ( toys, packnplay, high chair, kid movies) The kitchen was loaded with everything you need for meal prep. The coffee was spot on. The queen beds had great resort style linens and were very comfortable. The one bathroom had everything you needed if you didn’t pack it already.. There is a steep stairwell entrance with two locking doors before entry. I love the vintage, boho simple style. I would love to come back one day.
An adorable flat in a great neighborhood. Near the downtown area without the downtown crowd.

Why they chose this property
This property was purchased by my husband and myself. We did a full renovation to the property which included: updating the wiring, updating the plumbing, added central heating and cooling, brand new kitchen and bathroom, and refinished the hardwood floors. We put a lot of time, money, and hard work into this property. We are so proud of how it turned out and we are excited to share this home with travelers.
What makes this property unique
We love this quiet, historic neighborhood. The buildings are rich with character and this home in particular still has the original trim, hardwood floors, and stained glass windows. The location is close to everything St. Louis has to offer.
