My husband and I purchased the cottage in early 2023 as a place for us to visit with two of our grandchildren who live nearby. We love to travel together and look forward to retirement when we will be able to do more traveling. We enjoy camping in our RV and attending bluegrass festivals. We prefer visiting local restaurants and trying new dishes. Be sure to check out our guidebook for local recommendations around the Portland area.
Why they chose this property
We chose the cottage because of our grandchildren, of course. But, the cottage is also within close driving distance to both Nashville, TN and Bowling Green, KY - both of which have some fantastic attractions. The local areas of Portland, TN and Franklin, KY offer guests unique home-town experiences with seasonal festivals and activities.
What makes this property unique
The cottage is a great place to unwind and relax and the sunsets in Portland are the most spectacular in Tennessee. Sometimes we all need to hit the "re-set" button and we think the cottage is the perfect place to do just that.
