Amazing place for a family retreat, couples get away or sabbatical from life's demands. This home is nestled in the Mountain Beach private association between the resort towns of Grand Haven and Holland. Quiet board walk along the Port Sheldon channel and Pigeon lake all the way to the end of the Pier to fish, site see and watching the beautiful sunsets beyond the waters edge. Home is well equipped and will feel like home away from home.
The association has over 1300 ft of beautiful sandy shoreline. Just a few minuets away from bike paths, walking trails, shopping, dinning, entertainment etc….. You can spend your day at a small beach just outside the cottage on the channel enjoying the water and watching boats or take the association path to a wonderful piece of private beach paradise along the Lake Michigan shore line.

Great house and location. Plenty of sleeping places for multiple families with kids. Having two fully equipped kitchens on different floors a definite plus. Lots lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to hang out or find privacy. The short walks to 2 beaches was quite convenient. Some instructions about media would have been nice as would info about things to do in the area,

This cottage has been in the family for over 45 years. Lake Michigan, boating, water and the beach have been something our family has always enjoyed. Love to share our place with others and provide them with some time to relax, make memories and just enjoy life in one of the most beautiful areas of Western Michigan.

Why they chose this property

Beautiful private area with a home community feel. Beach supplies hours of entertainment for children or relaxation for adults. Beach home provides you with great living space for large groups. Plenty of dinning area's in and outside with two kitchens to prep, cook and keep food. 5 bedrooms for comfortable sleeping, 2 living areas if wanting space to watch TV or play games you can spread out depending on what you would like to do. We are close to well know resort towns so plenty of summer activities to enjoy, you pick blue berry farms, shopping and entertaining you can find many extra's to do.

What makes this property unique

Location of our place gives you the benefit of a beach along the channel or the beach at Lake Michigan shore. Sometimes nice to have the option if Lake Michigan has very windy and sand blowing day, the channel beach is a great place to enjoy.
