Whispering Palms

Time to get away and relax, at this naturally-lit, calming island home. Just minutes from the beach, enjoy yourself swimming in the ocean, laying out at the community pool, sitting on the back porch taking in the beautiful palms, and watching the calm pond. Getting the chance to experience Fripp Island’s unique deer that sometimes will even let you greet them. The house is located about a mile from the nearest beach access. Wi-Fi and smart TVs are included!
* our neighborhood pool and playground does not require an amenity card.
*recommend restaurants right outside of Fripp Island (on Saint Helena Island) to get a real feel of lowcountry/Gullah food is, Johnson creek tavern (breath taking views of the water), Beedos (local amazing burger joint), Gullah grub restaurant, Shrimp Shack (a person favorite you have to check out a continuing award winning restaurant for its shrimp), and the newly opened Seaside Bar and Grill.

This was a short golf cart ride to the beach. If you’re looking for a place to stay and not use amenity cards this is great because it also has a pool that was not hardly ever used or crowded! Wonderful place

The house was perfect for our family of 4. It had everything we needed and was extremely clean. Super cute too. The location was much quieter than other areas of the island which we liked. The community pool was clean and well maintained. Will definitely return to stay in the future. We had a fantastic time exploring the island via golf cart we rented from a local company. Short golf cart ride to the beach. Access 9, 15 and 24 were our favorites. Lovely home.

Our family of 4 had a great stay on Fripp. The house was clean, easy to check in, and easy to check out. The pool was a great bonus, but we also spent lots of time at the beach and catching fish from the pier.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and updated. The deer on the island are something special to see. The property does not come with an amenity pass to eat or do any activities on the island. It would have been nice to know before hand. Otherwise, we would definitely stay again.

Best House On Fripp

My sisters and I stayed here and were so impressed by this house! We have been staying on Fripp for years and have stayed at many different houses but this one was our favorite. The house matched the pictures perfectly and was very clean. I was a little nervous at first bc I have never used this website but the property manager was awesome. They had answered every question I had and very fast. We will definitely be staying here again next year!

Perfect!

What started out as a weekend getaway with my wife, turned into a last minute family getaway. Our plan to leave the kids with family fell through so they came with us. This property was perfect for the four of us. It had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. Very clean and bright. Had a cozy, home away from home feel to it. Not the cheesy beach house vibe you typically get. The included golf cart was nice, it made traveling around the island easy. Lisette, our host, was awesome. She was quick to answer any questions we had. We love Fripp, it’s our go to South Carolina get a way and this property made it even more enjoyable. We are already making plans to book again!

Outstanding getaway

There were 5 of us including a 3-year-old and we stayed for 3 nights. The location is great. The whole Flipp island is a gated community where you need to be careful with is alligators. However, be mind of arranging an arrival time with the host beforehand if you arrive rarlier than 4 pm. Otherwise, you will not be able to get the permit and pass the gate. The property is spacious and can fit 4 adults and 1-2 kids with no issues. There is a lot of sunlight in the house and it is easy to get a breeze by opening windows. The patios is wide and has a table for 4 persons. Kitchen has all the tools to cook proficient dishes and bake. However, the closest grocery stores are overpriced, so I would recommend buying food in Beauford. The state park is just 10 mins away and has beautiful and easy hikes. However, be aware of tickes there - we had to clean quite a few of them. The host provides an electic golf car that is very useful and quite way of transportation. The mattress is comfortable and of a medium firmness. It is very quite at night and I had the best dream ever there. The beach is clean and wide
