About this property

Cozy Cabin in the tall Pines! True mountain cabin vibes!

If you’re looking for city life luxury with jet tubs, surround sound and massage chairs this home isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a true cabin getaway with just the right amount of comfort and lots of outdoor adventure look no further!

The famous heard of Elk regularly lounge behind our home and can usually be seen several times a day lounging and grazing.

Our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin can comfortably sleep 6 with space for up to two more on the pull out couch. The entire cabin is 1,000 square feet. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a queen bed. There is a TV in the back bedroom and a large TV in the living room. Both are smart TVs and we are equipped with WiFi so you can log into your favorite app for movie night. We have newly installed central air.

Enjoy some outdoor games (Cornhole, Jenga, Connect 4) in the backyard while the elk visit just beyond the chain link fence or spend your days hiking, off-roading, or enjoying the local markets and restaurants. We have a barbecue grill with propane tank. The front porch is a peaceful haven with a swing and couch. There is plenty of parking if you arrive in multiple cars. The kitchen is fully equipped and you are welcome to use any durable goods you find in the cupboards. Note - We do not have an ice maker or filtered water on tap.

The dirt driveway is equipped with 30 amp and 50 amp plugins for an RV if you prefer separate living quarters with your guests however please note the driveway is steep and somewhat tight at the bottom. It takes an experienced operator and often 4 wheel drive to back a trailer or camper in. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions. Any vehicle will be fine for regular parking, 4 wheel drive is only needed for trailer parking.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $25 but we ask that you clean up after them. The backyard is fully enclosed by a chainlink fence to keep you fur family safe. There is an additional $50 fee for uncollected doggy doodoo. We also ask that you not leave them unattended in order to prevent any damage to our home or furnishings.

The indoor fireplace shown in the photos is not operational. It does not vent properly and WILL fill the house with smoke. We have central heat and a back up gas furnace in case of power outages.

No smoking in the home or backyard. Take special note of the fire restrictions during your stay which vary throughout the seasons.

Note that we have a ring doorbell at the front door facing the street and a camera in the backyard facing the yard for security. No cameras point toward the home and neither can see inside the home.

Fun get away
The home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a snowy surprise and appreciate the owner reaching out to make sure we were okay with the unexpected weather. Gorgeous trails a short drive away were enjoyed by our whole group. Empanadas at Pie bar are a must! Yum! We would definitely return.

Comfortable cozy cabin
Love the updates that have been made in the cabin while still maintaining the cabin charm. Very comfortable. Clean. The neighborhood was very quiet- even on New Year’s Eve. The backyard is thoroughly fenced so we felt very safe allowing our dogs to roam and sniff. The only thing we missed was a fireplace but the furnace worked just wonderfully to keep the temperature comfortable and consistent. We will return. Thank you!

Anniversary Get Away
We had an amazing stay at the Cozy Pine Cabin. The cabin was just as it was described. Very comfortable and it felt like home. My husband, myself and our 2 dogs loved it. We saw so many elk up close it was great!!! The bottle of wine and card was a really sweet gift for our Anniversary. Booking and communication with the owner was easy as could be. There were no issues our entire stay. We will definitely be staying again on our future trips.

My husband and I have two daughters and two fur daughters. We love the outdoors, traveling, camping, off-roading, hiking, etc.

Why they chose this property

My (now) husband and I were engaged with a wedding date scheduled in 2021. You know what happened then, LOL. So we decided that rather than push our wedding date out or compromising for the wedding we didn't dream of we'd have a small family ceremony in the open air and use our wedding fund for a downpayment on a vacation home. We have no regrets! Ironically this home became available the week before our ceremony when all our family was in town. We made an offer site unseen and the rest is history!
