Some people have a hard time leaving the cottage! Come relieve your stress and enjoy some relaxation!
The space Enjoy a truly adorable charming little cottage with vaulted living room ceilings and beams.
Guest total is 4-6 (there's a pullout couch in the living room) and your wonderful dogs are welcome! The large yard contains a fully enclosed fence. We even include doggie bowls, toys and bed for your convenience.
You will have the entire cottage yourselves!
Grill out on the back patio (propane included) if you choose
Relax in the living room with a 55" TV (with your own streaming options).
Embrace the small town farm neighborhood experience by waking up to the roosters and watching/listening to the clucking neighboring chickens, geese and turkeys.
**It is very IMPORTANT to note the the neighboring fowl/bird farm sounds can be quite rambunctious! Roosters crow before dawn and geese activley cluck throughout the dyad early evening. We love it and so do guests!
Everybody's dogs are different, but if you are bringing your dog(s), their behavior may become disrupted while out in the yard due to the birds' activity. When our family is in town we bring our shitzu and the fowl/bird farm does not over excite him at all.. in fact he gets curious and hangs out and watches them. Please know that this may not be the same for your pup(s).
Across the street you may see the goats and Billy the potbelly pig!!
Conduct office work, play cards, board games, puzzles or just enjoy a date night in!
Curl up with a book and sip your favorite beverage on the front porch, side enclosed porch or the backyard around the gas fire pit underneath the stars and string patio lighting. Enjoy the whistling wind through the tall pine trees.
While you have your morning coffee or early evening happy hour outside, b sure to look for elk passing by!When there is 1, there are usually more!
We do have video surveillance in the front yard only (pointing outward toward the road). This is solely for security purposes.
We are so excited you are on your way and we can't wait for you to come back! You will love it here! Enjoy this little slice of Heaven!

What a great cabin, everything you would need. Great location. Amazing brewery/restaurant and breakfast spot right aroung the corner. Cabin was really clean.
Loved it! Our hosts were so welcoming & helpful when we booked our reservation, I felt comfortable before we were even there! we had great communication with them, & they responded quickly. The cottage was adorable, & very spacious for its size, & our dog enjoyed the screened porch, so she could watch the elk when they were close by. There were all the amenities we needed, &more, & they were labeled for easy access. Will definitely book again, & highly recommend!!

We are so happy you and your pup enjoyed your stay! We look forward to hosting you again!
We totally enjoyed our stay! Check in is smooth. Cottage has everything you need, and then some. Fully equipped kitchen. We were visited by elk every day, multiple times. They seem friendly and will come close, so beware. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the front porch watching the elk. One day we had 3 deer stop by for a visit. Very quiet neighborhood, enjoyed our walks. Looking forward to coming back again.
Cottage was exactly as described. Perfect for us! Great communication with Misty. Our favorite part was sitting on the porch, watching the wildlife and listening to the sounds of nature. My pups enjoyed the yard and watching the chickens, rooster and geese next door. We had elk visit every morning, and every evening (8pm). Just booked another stay in August! Thanks Misty for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!
