PLEASE READ BELOW.
We have a small team helping us. We do not offer on-demand services like a hotel. We ask you be kind to our small team, our neighbors, and the small businesses on Main Street Lindstrom :)
THE SPACE: Walk-out lakefront access, four 2-person paddleboards (that can also be used similarly to kayaks), a 100" projector screen, knotty-pine walls, modern and fresh renovations, and comfortable furnishings, all complete the Pelican Bay Cabin.
Enjoy this entire cabin with modern amenities and charm, all while maintaining the comfort, flexibility, and privacy of a vacation home.
The cabin is just minutes from local wineries and vineyards, apple and pumpkin orchards, breweries, restaurants, outdoor adventures in St. Croix and Taylors Falls, the quaint downtown Lindstrom, skiing at Wild Mountain and Taylor's Falls, and so much more.
Given that the cabin is in a bay, we are fortunate to enjoy a plethora of wildlife year-round. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat that includes walk-out lakefront access to one of the most sought-after lakes in the region and abundant wildlife, this IS the place for you.
The reason wildlife seek out this bay is due to its LACK of sandy beaches. If you are looking for a sand-covered beach, this is NOT the place to stay.
RING DOORBELLS: We utilize Ring video doorbells for our guests' safety. This also allows us to ensure the booking details are accurate -- if more people than are listed attempt to check in, or someone other than the person who made the reservation checks in, we'll be alerted.
PETS: We can accommodate 1 dog per reservation upon approval only. Your dog must be on the reservation with the DAILY pet fee ($50 PER night) paid prior to arrival or you will be subject to an additional charge plus the nightly pet rate.
Please review our House Rules for additional instructions that allow us to continue to be fido friendly!
*No rabbits. No cats. No other animals allowed, even though we love them all.
GATHERINGS: The Lindstrom Cabin is a place to escape the noise and bustle of life. Keeping the noise down allows for you to hear all of the amazing wildlife and keeps the neighborhood the lovely, peaceful place it is. If you are here to throw a party or stay up until all hours of the night outside, I am afraid you have found the wrong place.

It's perfect for a couple or a couple with 1-2 kids who would love bunk beds. The lake view is lovely. The property was immaculate. We really enjoyed making popcorn and using the enormous projector screen to watch movies.
Cozy cabin with comfy furniture, great lake view and access, and hosts that made things easy for us. Immaculate, great info from hosts, great location for places to eat and things to do.
Stayed here a week and had a great time. Super clean and cozy, great view, nice neighbors (they gave our dog a toy that was too big for theirs), not much more you could ask for.
My girlfriend and I have been going on wine trips for the past 10years, we pick different locations and then visit wineries and boutiques in the area, along with hiking and sightseeing. This was the perfect location for all of the activities.
Pelican Bay is a great property. It is newly updated and has a great view of the bay from either siting on the sofa and drinking coffee or relaxing on the deck under a beautiful shade tree. It was clean and well equipped with what we needed for a long weekend. The hosts were great and I can’t wait to go back.
We had a great time at Austin and Elizabeth’s little cabin. It was perfect for our family with two small children. The home had almost everything we needed. We had to bring a pack n play and some added black out curtains but otherwise it was great. The location is awesome to get to Taylor’s Falls or the state park. I recommend it for a little weekend getaway!
This space was perfect for my husband, myself, and our 11 and 13 year old boys for 5 nights. We fished. We paddle-boarded. We caught a Harmony in the Park concert within walking distance. The kitchen has everything a cook needs, but nothing you don’t. I wished I had brought foil and ziplocks, but the nearby grocery store made that not a big deal. If you are wanting to swim, I recommend paddle boarding to deeper water or hitting the swim beach about a 5 min drive away. I was enchanted by the water lilies! To top it off the cabin was very thoughtfully decorated and the hosts very responsive. A wonderful stay!
This was a perfect place to stay for 3 of us older ladies over MEA. The cabin is small but very well appointed and clean, and the location and access to local vine yards, shops, antique stores was perfect. It's not far to Taylors Falls and the St Croix river, beautiful leaf viewing and scenery.
We weren't able to open the blinds on the front window but we enjoyed sitting on the front deck and watching the egrets. Very quiet and enjoyable.
The only thing we needed more of was kitchen cooking items. We did all our cooking there and there are no mixing bowls. It would be nice to have a cake pan and some glass drinking glasses as I have a thing about drinking out of plastic. It seems very dark in the kitchen by stove and sink so some under counter lights would be nice to make it a little brighter and a fan for the stove as we cooked bacon and there was no fan for exhaust. There are also a couple of the drawers we were really having issues with for opening. Just know those are all minor things. The place, location and atmosphere there was absolutely wonderful and we truly enjoyed our stay.
I would say the only down fall for us..... we have large vehicles 2 full size trucks and 1 large family suv all needed at the time as we were staying for a business trip and parking was extremely tight. Having to put one on the street made unloading at the end of a long day even longer. However the super cozy cabin made up for all of it! Morning sunrise was one to not miss!

Hi, we're Austin & Elizabeth! We're excited to share our favorite places with you! During the day Austin works as part of a family business here in the Twin Cities, and Elizabeth works as a graphic designer. When we're not doing that, we love to travel, hike, and mountain bike. We've stayed at Airbnbs for years in many different places and have appreciated the local insights of the hosts, the accommodations, and the privacy. We hope we can provide you the same wonderful service we've received from others.
