Jeff went above and beyond for me and the family. He gathered local fruits,made a delicious ceviche for us and helped us book a charter. The place is absolutely amazing. Jeff started out as our host and ended up becoming a friend. Thank you hopefully be back soon.

Chilling in Roatan

The area is very private and calm. Beautiful views with swimming and snorkeling available right there. Loved having the kayaks and paddle board. Everything you need right there! The owners are very responsive. Just a tip for future renters… go to the Supermarket Eldon’s in French Harbor. They even have an organic supermarket right next to it with a very good selection of products!!

Perfect!

Jeff and Karen are fantastic, and this was the best VRBO experience we've ever had (and we've had quite a few). They'll help you find or do whatever your ocean-loving heart desires - they have vast knowledge and a deep love of the island. The Palace, it's views, and it's property are peaceful and beautiful, and if you're lucky, you might get banana bread or lionfish ceviche. The property pups and cat were just as lovely. It's about an hour's drive to either end of the island, but we could just as easily have spent every day exploring the bay and neighboring areas. It was everything we had hoped for and more. Jeff and Karen truly want you to leave as friends, and we did.

The owners live in The Crow's Nest — the top floor — much of the year, bringing the kind of local knowledge no guidebook has. Jorge has been the property's watchman and maintenance manager since 1998. He's raised three children here and is now welcoming a two-year-old into the mix. Available 8am–5pm Monday through Saturday and 24/7 for emergencies. Speaks Spanish. Knows everything. A small propina is always appreciated.

Carib Bight is what Roatan used to be everywhere — quiet, pristine, and private. No cruise ships in sight. No strangers walking across your beach. Three reefs, the Roly Poly WWII shipwreck (snorkel from the dock), and 400-year-old pirate tunnels built by pirates to hide from the British Navy. All accessible from your door.

The owner lives on-site in The Crow's Nest. Jorge has been here since 1998 and has raised his family on this property. This isn't an absentee rental — it's a place people actually care about.
