About this property

Cabin for two with an awesome view

Welcome to Tunnelvision Tiny Cabin in Red River Gorge! Tucked away on top of a private ridge just on the edge of DBNF, two minutes from the iconic Nada Tunnel, and five minutes from Slade, our fun and funky cabin features a large, treed lot with panoramic cliff views of the Star Gap Arch Trail (Double Arch/Auxier Ridge area) overlooks. Take in the scenery and sunset on the elevated wrap-around deck, lounge in the hammocks or hot tub, or chill by the fire after a long day. The cabin interior features expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, a lofted, ladder-access sleeping area with queen bed, sleeper sofa, full bathroom, and kitchen. Free Wi-Fi and smart TV can keep you connected, but we’d rather you unwind. Tunnelvision Tiny Cabin is a quaint, modern, romantic spot that ideally sleeps two, but with room for your two or four-legged kids as well.
Front wheel drive needed for the driveway.

Home away from home
It was very beautiful here. The cabin is cozy. Had most of the amenities you would need for your stay. Would stay there again. Great for a new young couple.

Vacation
Cabin is unique and is located in a beautiful setting. The last 75 yards of the drive is on gravel and requires 4 wheel drive. We killed 4 roaches!! Hard to say how many we missed😩

Beautiful Cabin ...Disappointing Experience...Condensed review to meet character count!
1.When we arrived at the office to get access to the cabin, they didn't have us on the list of guests. 2.We arrived at the cabin, and discovered the door code we were given wasn't correct, having to take even more time to make calls and wait for a call back to get the correct door code. 3. No water as of 10pm the night before check out. We couldn't flush the toilet, take a shower, or wash hands, after hiking & hot tub (which we cleaned dead critters out of the first night we were here). So all of the sweaty outdoor activities, we were just dirty and smelly with no alternative. 4. There are nails popping out of the deck which, whatever, except if you're barefoot and catch your foot on one. We aren't hard to get along but when you pay the amount of money asked for this tiny cabin and this many issues arise in less than a 48hr stay, is disappointing. We brought these issues to the attention of management. They were receptive to listening but also wanted to argue about the dead critters in the hot tub. I expect critters in the woods; however, the hot tub had a latched cover on it, and had it been checked prior to our arrival, we wouldn't have been the ones cleaning it out. We were offered a partial refund. We thought, "great, they're willing to do the right thing here". Our partial refund was processed for $25. This is what their guests' inconveniences are worth to them? The cabin is beautiful but we will not be returning due to the management c ompanys lack of service.
