This raised beach style home is only a two-block walk to Smith Creek. It includes a porch which runs along the front of the house and a second screened in porch off the living room area. An upstairs loft area has a single bed with unobstructed panoramic views. The house features raised ceilings, with a understated nautical décor, and an mostly updated kitchen. It is located only 6 minutes from downtown Oriental which hosts a number of restaurants and stores, and is a 33-minute drive to New Bern.
For Boaters, a boat ramp is located 2 blocks away and there is enough space in the drive way to park a boat trailer.
Also, If you want to rent or charter a boat, "Bow and Stern" boat school is located just across Smith Creek.

Perfect for us!

Clean! Convenient! Communication with owner was clear! Really enjoyed the bedroom with pocket doors off of the master…allowed for our youngest to sleep with them open and feel close to us, but close them for privacy changing, etc. The enclosed porch was enjoyable for coffee, especially with the rain. Would recommend for any type of stay!
