Great property - especially for someone younger than me lol! While my husband and I could access the loft via the ladder, we just weren't comfortable with the idea of trying to get back down if we needed to during the night, or first thing in the morning. And realistically, the loft height is just too short for a bed with even a short frame - it might've worked with a mattress on the floor, but for us it just felt claustrophobic (I can't imagine even rolling over without hitting the ceiling, let along sitting up in bed to read - sitting straight up was a no-go). We ended up sleeping on the pull-out sofa, which was REALLY not comfortable, but the better of the two sleeping options.Other than that, we were VERY happy with the room. SUPER clean, modern-feeling, GREAT location (easily walkable through the VIBE district, and to the beach/boardwalk). This unit in particular was VERY private (in the back of the building, no shared entrance or anything).For our first trip to Virginia Beach, we were very happy and would definitely stay again. Hopefully with an upgraded pull-out sofa OR a shorter bed in the loft so we could sleep a little more comfortably.

We loved our stay here! All three of us were able to sleep comfortably, even in the loft. The ladder to the loft is quite narrow and steep, so if climbing is difficult, the pullout couch is a great alternative. The property manager, Dimitri, was very responsive and friendly. The home was fully equipped with kitchen tools and had amazing appliances, which made cooking and relaxing so easy. The location is perfect- close to downtown and the beach, but far enough to avoid the crowds. Despite some nearby construction, we really enjoyed being right next to the wave pools. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Misleading

We couldn’t use the bedroom loft because the ceiling was just a few inches from our face when lying down something that is not architecturally sound
