Everything about this place was awesome. The house, the outdoors, the river, and the longhorns! The host was always prompt in getting back if we had any questions. Would definitely stay there again!

Hill country paradise

This property was an exceptionally lovely retreat to relax in after the busy holiday season. The firepit/grill area provided hours of fun, roasting marshmallows and cooking steaks. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed, from the kitchen to the game cabinet. The wandering longhorns were visible every day of our trip and made for even more beautiful views from the porch. We had such a wonderful time and can’t recommend this property highly enough!

Long time high school gal pals

The property was perfect for our annual gathering...good lay-out, comfy bedding, beautiful scenery....loved our porch time! Only down-side was lrg. frig had an issue with door seal, which affected proper temperature inside frig. Also had issue with multi-cup coffee maker, but property mgr. was very responsive and replaced the unit.

Beautiful Property & House

The house is very nice and has many conveniences such as a wine fridge, large ice maker, comfy bedding, fire pit and outdoor seating. It’s not a large house but the design makes good use of space and the back porch is large with beautiful views. One thing to note, the road to get to the house is a bit of a drive and is very graveled with lots of big rocks—I would not want to drive a sedan or vehicle that sits low to the ground. Easy walk to the river to fish although we couldn’t get many bites. Be sure to bring laundry supplies and coffee for Kuerig if you want that. Host was reaponsive and helpful.

The house was pretty, and outside was breath taking, but i called the property manager catalina many times. My vacation, and Thanksgiving was ruined. The road to this property is horrible. Also, the neighbors or who ever lives there threatened us, and treated us like criminals when we were just walking. We did not do anything against the law. The sheriff came to the house on private property without permission.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the home beautiful and enjoyed the scenery, though we’re truly sorry that other aspects of your stay were so frustrating. Regarding the road, it is a farm-to-ranch dirt road. Unfortunately, despite the homeowners’ best efforts to maintain it, rainfall and seasonal weather conditions can quickly return it to its original state. We understand how challenging that can be and regret the inconvenience it caused during your visit. We’re also very sorry for the experience you had with the neighboring property. That situation was not acceptable, and we apologize that you were treated that way. Our team did our best to mediate at the time and also contacted the sheriff ourselves to help address the situation. The homeowners will be discussing this concern directly with the neighbors to help prevent anything similar in the future. Due to the inconvenience you experienced, a partial refund was issued. We truly appreciate you sharing this feedback, as it helps us and the homeowners continue to address and improve these situations moving forward.

Home on the range

We enjoyed our stay. We fished in the river that runs behind the home. Made s’mores in the outdoor fire pit. We were delighted when we saw the longhorn on the property. Bedrooms are small but clean and comfortable. Kitchen is fully Stocked but we did have to buy sponges and kitchen towels. It was nice to unplug and enjoy family time cooking, watching movies, dancing and playing games. The location is great for visiting New Braunfels, Luckenbach and Fredericksburg. We did have a minor ant invasion in one of the Kids suitcases but hey, she learned how to use the washer! If you love the outdoors, you will love this beautifully decorated home.

We have also had pest control go out to spray the house for ants, this has been taken care of. We apologize if any ants got into your kids suitcase. We hope to have you visit again, thank you!
