One of my favorite places to rent. I have stayed here 4 time and it never disappoints. Can’t wait to get back in November for another stay. Owners are great to deal with.
Great house, host was always available if you have a question. I will plan on staying here on my future hunting trips. This was my second time staying here.
We enjoyed our stay immensely! We were in Collbran to pick up two of our highland cows and staying here before doing so, it was so relaxing and fun! The River, hot tub and surroundings were amazing!
The Creekside Cabin is a truly wonderful property. The serenity of the location and lovely surroundings have us already considering when we might be able to return. A true gem of a space!
The home was lovely and private for a perfect get-away! The property managers responded to my questions very promptly and graciously. We would stay here again.
We were looking for a quiet place to take our grandsons fishing in the mountains. This place had it all. Wonderful hosts, very nice cabin with plenty of room and a peaceful setting to enjoy the mornings and evenings on the deck. Fishing was great on the mesa, Bonham and the Cottonwoods lakes. Scenery was stunning. Will definitely be back. Thank you Eric and Frédérique.
We found our happy place! The property is located in an area that is perfect for unwinding. Lots of hiking and beautiful scenery. We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay.
We had a lovely stay at this peaceful retreat! As we sat on the patio, we saw deer, raccoons and even a bear (thankfully from a distance)! Great communication. Very clean and well kept place!
This property was perfect. The access to the river was great. Super clean, well stocked, hot tub was great and easy check in and check out. Only knock I have is the lack of A/C and fans to cool us down in 100 degree temps.

Our apologies for not having in the guest notes that there are tower fans in each bedroom closet, and where the wall control for the ceiling fan is located.
Shading trees and cool high country nights are generally sufficient, but this season’s heat wave has been particularly intense.
We’re glad that you enjoyed your stay, and look forward to having you back next year.
Would highly recommend to anyone! This cabin feel, homey place was perfect for our family to enjoy. Everything stated in listing was exact and we would stay here again if our travels take us this way in the future. We had no issues and they were even accomodating to allow us to check in an hour early. Well worth it and the price was on point for what you receive. Thank you!
Awesome place to relax and enjoy the sounds of the creek right outside the deck while soak in the hot tub. You are in the middle of everything. Get up early and drive. Way to many things to see and do. Wish we could have stayed longer.
This home is a true gem. Everything was clean and in good working condition. The views of the creek from the main floor are beautiful. The bathrooms were spotless and the showers both appeared to be brand new with amazing shower heads. The location makes this feel like a real vacation home. It is tucked among the trees with a beautiful creek running right behind the house without another home in sight except the occasional view of one farmhouse. I spent three nights and left feeling rejuvenated. I wish I could have stayed longer. Eric, the homeowner, promptly responded to any questions I had before and during my stay. I would highly recommend and hope to be returning myself.
My gosh where to begin describing how incredible of an experience my fiancee and I had here. The home in Collbran is the ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life with gorgeous mountain views and tranquil sounds of a flowing mountain creek right through your very own back yard. I cant even begin to explain just how relaxing it was to soak in the hot tub while listening to the sounds of flowing water and beautiful mother nature. The location is idealy located off the beating path not far from the Grand Mesa Scenic Byway and is within a reasonable driving distance to Grand Junction where you can find anything you need to fulfill your daily grocery and outdoor adventuring shopping needs. Plenty of exploring to be done nearby in the Grand Mesa National Forest with stunning views, amazing hikes, cross country skiing, or enjoying the slopes at nearby Powderhorn Mountain Resort. The home decor inside is beautiful and very fitting to the surrounding area. The home is equipped with everything needed for a perfect stay including a large washer and dryer but the highlight for me was definitely the hot tub overlooking Buzzard Creek and the mountainside across the way. The beds were very comfortable and the house was clean and well maintained. Eric and Frederique were simply the most incredible, kind, polite, and caring hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. I would recommend this home along with its hosts to anyone truly looking to relax. 5
