New Lake Front Studio Style Cottage - w/ private dock, kayaks and full kitchen

Come experience the magic of lakeside living. Please read the entire description before booking to ensure you book the correct unit for your group's size and needs. Our newly built lakefront cottage was built with vacation rental in mind.

This listing is to book unit: Egret, is a one bed one bath studio style unit with a queen bed and twin bed (sleeps 3). To book the entire cottage or a different unit, please find the corresponding listing for your dates or reach out with any questions. The entire cottage has 3 units, 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and sleeps 9 total.

This studio style unit has a queen and twin bed, with a full kitchen, full bathroom with a shower/tub combo, and living room and dining table. Each unit has its own lake front porch over looking Deer Point Lake.

Deer Point lake is known for its big bass and record Shellcrackers so bring your fishing pole, boat or jet ski. There are 2 fishing Kayaks, a charcoal grill, picnic table, and a lake side fire pit for guest use. A private boat dock and trailer parking is available for guest use as well. There is a 50 amp / 240 volt EV plug for our guests traveling in electric vehicles, and a 50 amp RV site on the property if you are traveling in an RV.

By allowing our guests to book the units in the cottage separately, you only pay for what you need. Each unit has its own private entrance and key pad, and guests have access to a full washer and dryer.

We allow dogs with an additional pet fee. Dogs must be crated or taken with the owner if you leave the property.

Other details to note:
The cottage is located 25 minutes from Panama City beach, Pier Park, and several other beaches. It is only 15 minutes from Panama City airport, 20 minutes from Tyndall Air Force Base, and a 45 minute drive to Seaside and 30A area.

Self check-in with keypad. Each unit has a private entrance with door code locks and a common laundry area.

Only the first dog is included in the pet fee during your stay; each additional dog is subject to a $50 fee.

Bring your own firewood and charcoal for use of the firepit and grill.

Bring your boat or jet skis to explore the lake, or enjoy some great fishing as the lake has very little fishing pressure on it. Fishing, hunting, birding, kayaking, or boating on the rivers make for great day activities. Relaxing on the lake just steps outside your front door is also a good option.

Additional $15 to have access to the EV charger during your stay. The RV Pad has sewage, water, electrical at the pad, and there is an additional charge if you would like to use it during your stay.

Cottage is much nicer than advertised, lake view is relaxing. We had center unit of 3, and hardly noticed other renters. Advertised picture is back of cottage, well equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable, quiet a c unit, pet friendly, we saw a small alligator in the lake while we sat on the dock bench (about 3 ft),and had frogs visit the porch in the morning. Will most likely stay here again in the future. Thanks

Lovely lake front cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay on Deer Point Lake. Very peaceful spot to sip coffee on the porch and watch the sunrise. It was very nice to have the kayaks to use and we caught a couple fish from the dock. The cottage is exactly as it was advertised and extremely clean. Can’t wait to come back next year.

Great and Relaxing

My family I had a great time here! Very clean and spacious with plenty of room for us all. Very easy to access the unit. The views are beautiful with amazing views of the sunrise/sunset! This place is quiet and relaxing. It is just a short drive to the beach and Pete Park. I will be bringing my family back again!

Lakeview serenity!

Cute and clean middle apartment with everything you will need during your stay. I am a stickler for having everything I need for a good night sleep and I must say the beds and bedding were wonderful! Cozy and clean, made for great nights sleep. Everything we needed in the kitchen was also very helpful. Outside, we had the biggest patio space and made full use. Sitting outside and drinking our coffee in the morning watching the sun wake up over the lake was so peaceful. Fishing off the docks were so much fun as well. We caught bluegills. Also, at night with a cold beer watching the frogs come out and sing was phenomenal. Just Perfect!My only issue would be, and this is not owners fault, is that you need to remember that the outside and laundry area is shared. Which means some people may be doing laundry at 11:30/12:00 at night. And Since they are literally located right outside our door, it was a challenge some nights. Maybe a sign asking that all laundry be down before 10? Otherwise, we and our dogs had a wonderful time there. Would stay again if we were back in that area!
