We loved the house! It was situated in a wonderful, secluded location yet only minutes away from everything. We particularly enjoyed having evening supper and drinks on the beautiful wrap-around porch. Would stay again!

Not as clean as we expected
The property was secluded and we enjoyed that. However it was not clean. The upstairs apartment floors were dirty as well as the air and heat did not work. The window in bathroom up there is very drafty. Downstairs the beds need to be pulled out and cleaned behind. Food was behind one bed and my small dog found it and was sick from eating it. I am not in the habit of pulling beds out to see what is behind them. (Lesson learned)! We had issues with fan and light controls as well as heat and air issues downstairs as well. We were there only from Friday thru Sunday morning to attend wedding rehearsal and wedding so we didn't call the manager with the issues . The porch was covered in leaves and yard was pretty much messy with fallen limbs. Entrance door is dirty on the outside as well as inside. It was a large house and is perfect for a family to come together to spend time. Cleanliness and better operation of heat and air units is our biggest issues. We appreciated a place where pets are allowed and so much room for family; also for allowing us to check in early.
