Not allowed to stay

I was told by the property manager that the property was confirmed and the next day told we could not stay. The HOA only allowed a 30 day or longer stay - our plan was one week. But this was not in the listing. So they supposedly canceled us. But as of my last check VRBO says it’s the property manager’s responsibility and the property manager says it’s VEBO’s. VRBO finally refunded the deposit but it continued to appear in my account that the property was ours - to the point that I received a message to create this review. Stay away from this property and its manager.
