Welcome to “Our Life” cabin. Our Life is located directly on the beautiful Cosby Creek in the quite side of the Smokies. Cosby Creek is stocked with trout so don’t for get to bring you fishing pole! The cabin is easily accessible, with no mountain roads to climb and only 4 steps up to the front porch where you can enjoy the views of the Smoky Mountains from your own rocking chair. Bring some marshmallows and hotdogs for roasting over the fire pit and burgers and steaks for grilling on the charcoal grill. Our Life offers bamboo flooring, granite counter tops and an open floor plan. Enjoy a fun game of Scrabble on the wall mounted Scrabble board, and various board games. The living room offers a full sleeper sofa, two over sized recliners and large flat screen Roku TV. The first full bathroom is conveniently located just off the living room and offers a tub/shower combo. The large bedroom offers a king size Aspen log bed, a Roku TV, desk & chair with a view of Cosby Creek. The whirlpool tub in the private bath offers an opportunity to get away from the stresses of everyday. Add your favorite music for some much needed relaxation. The back porch is directly on Cosby Creek and has both a covered and uncovered deck with the hot tub nestled in the corner for a bit of privacy. The closest Walmart, Lowes, various grocery stores and restaurants are only a short drive (approx. 10-15 minutes) in the city of Newport. There is also a Dollar General Market just down the street for those last minute items. Enjoy a peaceful and scenic drive (approx. 25-30 minutes) to the heart of Gatlinburg. Enjoy! The Smoky Mountains are calling!

The lounge chairs for TV watching needs to be replaced. The remotes were poorly effective if almost ineffective. The sofa bed was terribly uncomfortable! parts of the stove top did not work

Thank you for your feedback. We do wish you had contacted us during your stay, as we could have addressed these issues right away. The TV remote likely either needed new batteries or may have been switched with the bedroom remote. We also checked the gas stove, and it only required the diverter to be moved slightly to operate properly. As for the sleeper sofa, I’m not sure I’ve ever heard anyone describe a sleeper sofa as truly comfortable! 😄 We appreciate you bringing the lounge chairs to our attention and will take that into consideration. We always want our guests to have the best possible stay, and contacting us during the visit gives us the opportunity to correct any issues immediately.

Everything was just as it said. We had a wonderful long weekend visit. Enjoyed downtown Newport, fished both from the backyard as well as Douglas Lake, visited Bootleggers in Hartford and made a dinner show in Pigeon Forge. This is located in a perfect off the beaten path, but close to everything.

I appreciated this rental being pet friendly. It would have been nice to have more towels and wash clothes available and I wasn't impressed with the sheets that were on the bed. They had lint balls and had a small tear in the sheet.

We take a lot of pride in how our cabins are stocked and maintained, and the condition of those sheets should have never happened—that’ll be addressed with housekeeping. We’ll also make sure we’re better stocked on towels and washcloths moving forward. Next time, if something isn’t right during your stay, please reach out while you’re there. We would’ve gotten fresh sheets and extra towels out to you right away.

Awesome experience

The cabin was great with the creek being right behind it. Hearing the water rushing in the background made for a relaxing getaway. Would definitely book another trip, but a longer stay next time!!!

The overall stay was good. There were only a few small things that could have been better. The ice maker did not work in the refrigerator. The hot tub jets did not work and the temperature of the hot tub water was just warm and could not be adjusted. I had specifically rented this cabin for the hot tub and it was a big disappointment that it could not be enjoyed. But other than those inconveniences it was a nice stay.

This is a perfect example of why it is so important to contact us during your stay if you experience an issue. The hot tub controller has multiple buttons, and if certain buttons are pressed too quickly or in the wrong sequence, the system can be reprogrammed into Sleep Mode. When this happens, the heater and jets will not operate. A simple phone call would have allowed us to walk you through the button sequence needed to return the hot tub to normal operation within minutes. The same applies to the ice makers. There are several controls located on the dispenser panels, and it is possible to accidentally turn the units off. Upon reviewing your reservation records and housekeeping notes, it was documented during checkout cleaning that the hot tub was found in Sleep Mode and that both the upper and lower ice makers had been turned off at their control panels. We are always happy to help and encourage all guests to contact us during their stay with any questions or concerns regarding the operation of equipment or amenities in our cabins. In most cases, we can quickly resolve the issue and ensure you enjoy everything the cabin has to offer. Great time

Taija and I had a great time while we were on our get away for some well deserved mini vacation for a couple of days, we would recommend this cabin to anyone. Cramer's Creekside Cabin, falls nothing short than absolutely beautiful inside and outside, a country setting with a little of everything to do during your stay. Cramer's Creekside Cabin, is great place to catch up on R& R. We loved our stay, and planning to return soon.

This was a cute cabin with nice little creek behind. It was a nice clean little cabin with everything you need. Roughly 25 mins outside of Gatlinburg. I will definitely stay again!

Perfect stay!

This cabin is absolutely perfect! The host thought of everything you will need during your stay! There are games, movies, a fenced yard for your dogs and so much more!
