You’ll have private access to the entire 1st-floor unit. Detailed check-in information will be provided 24 hours prior to arrival, including a code for self check-in. Please plan for check-in anytime after 4pm and check-out anytime before 10am.

Set in a quiet residential neighborhood, the home offers a peaceful, serene retreat. The area is very safe, and walking back home at night time is not an issue.

You’re also close to the vibrant culinary scene in Newark’s Ironbound—enjoy an abundance of amazing Portuguese and Spanish tapas restaurants nearby. Take in the cultural character of the area while still enjoying the tranquility of the neighborhood, and don’t miss the chance to explore the captivating attractions of New York City close by.

Parking (please read carefully):
Unfortunately, our property does not have on-site parking. However, we’ve partnered with a nearby neighbor who offers parking for $8/day, located just two blocks away. If you’d like to reserve this spot, please let us know in advance—availability is limited and must be arranged ahead of time. Street parking is also available, but it can be difficult to find a spot, especially if returning late at night.

Free street parking:
- Weekdays after 4pm to morning 8am (yellow line right next to the school)
- Free on weekends

All-day parking option:
There is a parking lot under the bridge (entrance is right in front of Economy Supply store on 204 Harrison Ave)
- $4.35 for 10 hours (8am to 6pm); after 6pm free until next morning 8am
- Free on weekends

If the lot is full, try 629 Central Ave:
- Park here weekdays 6pm–8am only
- Free on weekends

*Please note: The town is a high-density area with limited street parking. Metered parking is available—please read all posted signs carefully. Since many homes do not have dedicated parking, residents often rely on street parking, which can reduce availability for visitors and out-of-town vehicles.

House Rules:
- We are delighted to have you here and we hope you have a wonderful stay.
- We ask all adult guests to provide government-issued IDs upon check-in per Vrbo rules.
- Absolutely NO parties are allowed; the reservation will be cancelled and reported to Vrbo with no refund.
- No smoking or pets inside the house; violator will be fined an additional $200 cleaning fee. Please take off shoes when entering the unit.
- Only registered guests can be allowed into the unit. Unauthorized guests will not be allowed to stay.
- Please note that we are not liable for circumstances beyond our control, such as power outages, internet service disruptions, variations in internet speed, difficulties in finding street parking, or incidents occurring outside of the apartment.
- Quiet hours 10pm–8am. There are long-term tenants on the 2nd floor; please be mindful of noise.
- Please note: The unit is next to an elementary school. During lunch hours (typically around 11:30 am to 1 pm), you may experience some noise as the children come out to play. Please keep this in mind when considering our space (school is closed during summer break from June to Sept).
**Please note that if any of the house rules are broken, we will inform Airbnb and ask the guest to leave the property ASAP without any refund.
