About this property
Newly renovated home with gorgeous lake views
Step into a real log cabin with 4 BR/3.5 BA that has been meticulously updated with all top-of-the-line amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Enjoy the great outdoors with Rocky Mountain Park (West Entrance) only 5 miles away and the charming town of Grand Lake & Granby ~15 minutes away (opposite directions). 3 levels of living with a family room and queen bed and full bath with shower on the ground floor; the 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms with a shared full bath with a bathtub. One bedroom has a queen size bunk bed (very comfortable for adults still) and the other bedroom has 4 twin beds with one being a twin bunk bed and the 3rd/4th twin bed is a trundle. Also on the main floor is a fully equipped chef's kitchen with convection range, steam oven, kitchen aid blender, espresso machine and so much more. Radiant heat flooring throughout main floors. If you want a bit more heat, gather around a wood fired pot belly stove in the main family room that also has access to a huge outdoor deck that looks out to Lake Granby. Top floor boasts an unique master bedroom with a sitting room and a full bathroom with a walk in shower. Enjoy outdoor gatherings around the firepit situated amongst the professionally landscaped yard. At about 8400 feet, summers are cool in the evening; thus, there is no AC (bedrooms have fans). Absolutely no pets, no smoking of anything, and shoes off please.

About the host
Hosted by Pierre Blanchard
Grand Lake is a true four season town and a hidden gem (at least for now). We have traveled all over the world and we want to share what we often call our Chateau (yes we are French) in Grand Lake. This home has been lovingly renovated (yes that means DIY) and remains a getaway for ourselves and our families. We spared no details and are hopeful you will enjoy and care for the cabin.
Why they chose this property
This is a low key, non pretentious neighborhood and that is why we love it. Explore the authentic life of mountain living while being pampered with all the luxuries that you deserve while on vacation. The sunrise and sunsets from the huge deck make our morning coffees and evening meals that much more memorable.
What makes this property unique
This is a true log cabin that has been renovated with blood, sweat, tears, and love. When you arrive, you will notice that is so much more than just a place to sleep; but it's a home where you will fall in love with Grand Lake, Colorado.
