Best pet friendly stay! Our dog loved the fenced yard. All the thoughtful touches inside and outside were much appreciated! Very clean and great to have everything needed for enjoying food on the grill.

Completely quiet area perfect for sitting outside around the fire pit or stargazing. The house is a bit away from the nearest town of any significance with a big grocery store (Food Lion) but it's not so far away that it's completely inconvenient.

The location and cottage were both great! It was private and had great space for our dog and us as well. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking in. Clean and cozy for sure!

Amazing Wilderness Retreat

The Refuge is such a wonderful place.! It was perfect for us. The location is quiet and peaceful. We had a few late afternoon showers and it was fun sitting on the front porch and enjoying the summer run. The back yard is huge with a great fire pit. I can't wait to go back!

Great out of the way place for a couple or small families. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils and cookware to make any meal from breakfast to dinner. The fenced in, sizeable yard is a great amenity for those with dogs.Finally, the night sky is phenominal. You can clearly see many stars and constellations without light pollution. Great for stargazing.
