Lake front 4 season rustic log cabin located in the foothills of the White mountains.

The 3 bedroom plus 1 bathroom 4 season log cabin fully furnished which sleeps 7 comfortably. The perfect cabin for leaving your cell phone and stress home and relaxing with all the beauty the lake regions has to offer. Escape from the city to sunny lake front cabin with its cool country nights filled with lake breezes sleeping under a cozy quilt.

The cabin is nestled in a wooded lot abutting the White National Forest, NH on a pristine non-motorized quiet lake 5 feet from the front porch. It's a convenient 2 hour drive from Boston.

The cabin sits on 4.75 acre with the lake as the front yard and forest as its border. The property and area abounds with hiking trails for wildlife watching that includes deer, bear, partridge, moose, geese, mallards, loons, bald eagles, hawks, owls and much more. If you feel like a drive, 45 minutes to Conway, Mt Washington and many other local attractions.

Just what we were looking for- a peaceful cabin on a beautiful, quiet lake that had everything we needed to have a great mother/daughter vacation! All the essentials were provided for our stay, and I especially enjoyed using the kayaks to explore the lake, pick wild blueberries, and cool off in the water. There was so much wildlife to watch- loons, heron, hummingbirds, a bald eagle, you name it! The fire pit was also a great feature. Alexander, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. Wonderful experience, would absolutely stay again, we miss it already.

Perfect cabin in the Woods

This cabin is perfectly located on the edge of mirror lake. Everything lived up to our expectations, the facilities were great, we enjoyed canoeing on the lake, sitting on the veranda and round the fire pit in the evening, family time in the the cabin, spotting the wildlife when we were outdoors. A really good life experience.

Breath taking property

The pictures do not do the property and setting justice. It’s breath taking. Alexander was extremely responsive to any question or concerns we had at any given time. My only reason for not giving our experience a 5 star is because the property def could have used a deep cleaning as well as a handful of the furniture and items could have used some TLC/ attention. Other than that We had a great stay

Exactly what we were looking for

We spent a week at Mirror Lake and loved all of it. The lake is calm and naturally beautiful. Lots and Lots of fishing, plus watching the eagles, loons, beaver. Our boys loved the kayaks and the rope swing across the lake. The cabin was great for us. We grilled almost every night - enjoying dinner on the porch, then smores on the campfire. We have no complaints and hope to do it again.

Beautiful spot

The cabin is in a secluded spot and the area was perfect. The cabin was clean and well stocked. Two things that standout: the water from the faucets are undrinkable and smell of rust/iron, and the "couches" in the living room are actually very uncomfortable futons. OK for sleeping I guess, but not for relaxing by the fire. Neither issue ruined our stay,. but future renters should be aware,

Celebrating my in-laws 61st Wedding Anniversary !

We enjoyed the feeling of the log cabin immensley ! We loved all the wood and the warm, relaxing, homey feeling. The lake was so beautiful and peaceful to be on. We spent lots of time sitting on the deck looking out at the water. The home has a great amount of space and enough bedrooms. The weather was perfect and my husband and I went on a couple of walks. We also enjoyed visiting the local area for restaurants and went to the nearby race car track on Saturday night. The only thing we would have liked to seen different was the stairs up to the deck and the deck to be updated. Thank you for a great stay ! The Dean-Frazier’s

Great Location, could use a toaster, Kuerig coffee, Laundry Facility and Definitely the porch needs to be screened in which would be simple to do and a huge difference. The bed choices shld also be better, all 6 mattresses were extremally hard and given there are 6 there shld be a few that are softer (nt everyone wants a hard mat). Pillows cld also use updating. These are all minor things yes but do matter. Overall I would encourage everyone to stay here as it dsnt get better for the location and views. The Bald eagle landed within 75 ft everyday and stayed for over an hour each time. Owner was very easy to communicate with as well. Awesome Cabin !!!!

Perfect "cabin in the woods" getaway

TLDR: Cabin is Awesome - Easily sleeps a Family of six (not including the futons Kitchen is well equipped - you need to bring nothing except food The property is great! Plenty of books, board games, and water activities Wifi OK for zoom/streaming - Can work here! Fishing Poles need some love Long version This place was great. The decorations, books, activities and such all fall in line with what you would expect for a 'getaway cabin". Very little "human noise" (the highway does echo off the lake a teeny bit). Tons of wildlife (we saw a bald eagle and some beavers). Fishing was decent, even in October (we caught some sunfish, Pickerel and a few small perch). Kitchen was well stocked and ready for someone to whip up a helluva meal (we didnt use the kitchen except to use the dishes). There is plenty of split wood ready for the awesome fireplace! The few things one should know just to be prepared: 1. If you have accessibility needs such as no stairs or a higher toilet, know that there are 4 outdoor steps leading to the front deck which are a little steep for some (my wife has mobility issues so we had to take extra care going up). And the toilet is not ADA height. 2. The Fishing poles need at a minimum new line or just replacement due to age. Only one had enough line to cast. Love these are even available but a little maintenance on them is needed. All in all, this place is absolutely great! It truly is "ready to go". Be Sure to light a fire and enjoy the hearth.

North Woodstock lake house

Great log cabin steps away from the lake. Very peaceful and relaxing setting. Host Alexander was very prompt on icing issue we experienced on driveway due to spring snow melt and overnight refreezing. He sent his crew right out to salt the driveway. We had a great weekend at the house and look forward to returning.

Comfortable and cozy ski get-away

We had a very memorable stay at this beautiful home for our ski trip! Wonderful location on the lake with stunning morning and evening light in the skies. Warm fires in a remarkably well designed fireplace made for a welcome return from the slopes of Loon Mountain. Three snug bedrooms and open kitchen-living area all made for an excellent stay! Highly recommend.

Lakeside Retreat

This lakeside home was the perfect combination of seclusion, easy access, cabin charm and modern amenities. It was minutes from 93 but once you pull in the driveway you're enveloped by the rugged terrain and canopy. AWD/4WD required in the winter when snow is a part of the equation. The lake was a 10 second walk from the porch which had amazing views and we enjoyed the chatter from the resident bald eagles. The kitchen had all the little things you'd expect in a home that is lived in. The bedrooms are versatile and clean. I highly recommend this property.
