Situated just beyond a house from the same era.

Wonderful place to relax and unwind while visiting the Shenandoah Valley.

If you’d like to venture out:

14 minute drive to Showalter’s Orchard. with hard apple cider (tasting room and amazing views!). Be sure to try their apple donuts, freshly made).

If you like the outdoors, we are centrally located to several amazing hiking trails award wining wineries and breweries, and a soon to be built Rails to Trails path!

Approximately 15 minutes to JMU

Comfortable beds with premium bedding. Queen bed is Wayfair pillow top. The sofa bed is a Crate and Barrel model. Topped with an air cushion layer, the sleep mattress provides twice the thickness of ordinary sleeper mattresses using the highest quality materials and latest technology for maximum comfort.

Premium gas cook stove, Bosch dishwasher and Granite countertops make the kitchen a dream to cook in. I have plenty of cookware and serving dishes to make a gourmet family meal.

Grass fed beef available upon request. We have a farm 30 minutes to the west.

This house is exceptional! Charm of the 1830’s but beautifully redone to make it feel cozy and warm. It is immaculate, has everything you need to stay and the host Dena is extremely friendly, helpful and responsive. My husband and I (along with our dog) spent the night and felt right at home. We want to come back and stay longer next time!
