2 bedroom Cottage on the beautiful and popular Burt Lake, just a few short steps to the sandy beach. Cottage is one home out of a small 3 cottage and 1 home resort. You will enjoy your own private cottage in the resort, with a large shared beach frontage and docks. Home is stocked with linens, kitchen towels, and wash cloths. However, please bring your own toiletries Beach and Bath towels.
Home has 2 bedrooms- one has a queen size bed and the other has a Twin over Double Bunk bed. There is also a futon in the living room and a single pull out bed on the enclosed sun porch for your use.
Paddle boat, fire pit, and grills are available for your enjoyment. Enjoy your meal at the table inside with peek a boo views of the lake or on the picnic table or Patio table in the yard. Short walk to a local hidden favorite, Hoppies Tavern Restaurant. Located just a short drive to Cheboygan, Indian River, Mackinaw City, and the Ferries to Mackinac Island.
Sand beach with a few feet of rock bed in the lake before switching back to sand. Water shoes are recommended in the lake.
** Boat Docking is allowed at the shared dock, However ALL boats must be pulled each evening and in the event of storms/high winds. Damages that result to your boat AND/ OR the dock in the event they are not removed is renter's responsibility. Owner/Manager/Resort is not liable for any damages incurred. **

Pet friendly by the lake cottage

I love that the place is pet friendly. We travel with our goldendoodle whenever we can. There is one restaurant across the street made it easier to avail of dinner. Spacious. Full working kitchen, we need a fridge and freezer for our pup’s food. Good size rooms. By the lake. Fire pits. Grill. Oven. There is a yard as well and parking. Internet is almost non existent. Slow service. Bathroom is small and could use updating of the shower stall has a faint urine smell. Over all, this is a great place to stay. Quiet neighborhood.

Upnorth Michigan

First time cottage on Burt Lake had beautiful weather. Thou our cottage was behind lakefront cottages we still were able to use premises and hang out by the water. Guest at other cottages were friendly. The cottage was cute no need to bring plates/glasses/cups/silverware probably just a couple cooking pans…coffee maker/toaster/keurig awesome…..The cottage was cozy comfortable to fit family of 8 and a pet. We brought our 3 year old golden retriever along with her crate thou she is potty trained wanted to make sure she would not destroy anything and with a lil rearrangement all was comfortable to walk in/out. She got to go swimming and ended up feeling cozy as well. Kayla was awesome responding to all the questions I had which were plenty. Great place to have family time and across Hoppies Tavern.
