We had a good time at Michael's place, the location is great for the things that we wanted to do. It was clean and comfortable and had just the things we needed for a few days' stay. We never had trouble finding street parking within a few houses of Michael's.
Cozy and stylish getaway - perfect for staying in!
Everything from the patio, large bathroom, kitchen, living area with TV and 2 bedrooms are perfectly sized and formatted for an enjoyable, private and cozy stay - definitely a top choice when in Denver!
Perfect location, clean, safe, inviting place and quiet. We would definitely stay here again. Host was quick to respond and very easy to work with.Great place and reasonably priced.
Great property and easy to check in. The property was clean and comfortable. Close to everything that we wanted to be near. Our first night was a bit warm as there was no thermostat in the unit but not terrible because the weather outside was cold. Overall fit our needs and I would recommend for anyone that wants to e close to downtown.
The apartment was the perfect size for two couples. It is in a great location with multiple restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Michael was very communicative.
Property was exactly as advertised. Clean, well maintained, comfortable and convenient! I met Michael the first afternoon I was there. He offered some helpful tips and suggestions. If I get a chance to go back to Denver, I’ll stay there again if available!
It was a very nice space and close to downtown and the patio out back was lovely. Downside was it's a basement with little natural light so the ights have to be on all the time. There is no independant thermostat so it was a bit chilly down there.
We enjoyed our stay at this rental. The rental was clean and communication was quick and efficient. We were given many recommendations for close by hikes and other things to do. Michael also gave us good tips for Red Rocks parking for a Sunday evening show.
We had two couples (4 people) staying here. There was enough room for our purposes. We didn’t hang out much at the rental, but there was a small couch, enough dining seats for us, and comfortable beds. There was also nice outdoor seating that we used once during our stay. Street parking was easy and there was a step up to enter the rental and then a few steps down stairs (once inside) to the space.
Location was nice, we traveled to Rocky Mountain National Park two different days (about 1.5 hr drive), Red Rocks Amphitheater (about 20 minute drive) and checked out a lot of local restaurants which were all great (Billy’s, Atomic Cowboy, Call Your Mother, Huckleberry Roasters).
Thanks for hosting us!
We had a great experience and would go back again and recommend it to others.
The unit is a lower level space with pretty good daylight for a lower level thanks to a fair number of clean, updated windows. It feels very clean and freshly renovated, making it inviting rather than dreary as some basement units are.
The separate entrance in the rear was easy to use and appreciated. Parking on the street was very easy to find in general and only started to fill up later on Saturday night when it seems there is more of a crowd for the local restaurants nearby, but even then we did not have an issue finding a spot.
The kitchen is compact but nicely usable, and the bedrooms were good sized, with nice closet space and space around the beds for luggage (not always the case). The sitting area is pretty limited (just one regular sofa really), working well for 2 or 3 people at a time but it would be cramped with more people than that.
Bathroom is spacious and updated with good counter space and two sinks.
Minor things we would note: a few more towels would be appreciated (4 regular towels is a little light for groups where some with long hair use 2 towels). One of the bedrooms has a pretty small and high up window that would be challenging for egress in case of emergency.
Michael was easy to work with and overall we had a really good experience.

Why they chose this property
I have friends in the neighborhood and love both the proximity to downtown and the mountains via I-70. There are tons of great options nearby, and it's very convenient to get around the city.
