This is a tiny house and is approximately a 300 sq foot space with ceiling heights of 6’4”. There is a small deck attached to the Main entrance with a canopy for covered seating. You will enter into the main space of the kitchen with a table, futon and TV. Then walk through to a private bathroom and then the main bedroom with a full size bed. The tiny house is set up as a 1 bedroom tailored to a single person or a couple. However, the futon can fold down to a bed and there is enough room for a small pack n play in the kitchen area. There is running water, hot water, electric/internet and a propane stove.
The TV Has a roku stick with the ability to log into apps such as Hulu, Netflix, Disney +, etc.
The washing machine is available for use for small washes. Please do not overfill the washer. It can only be filled ¾ of the tub. There is no dryer but a drying rack is available for use. There is laundry detergent under the sink. The washing machine will need to be plugged in to use it. Please limit to one use per stay and let us know as we will need to drain the holding tank.
Propane: Located outside the door on the porch there is 2 propane tanks. Only 1 needs to be turned on. Remove the black lid, then turn the dial to the on position. Propane tanks need to be turned on to use the stovetop and hot water. Please turn the tanks off when not in use.
Heat pump instructions: The heat pump is electric and can be controlled using the remote. There is a heat and air conditioner option. You are able to adjust the temperature yourself to desired temperature.
The water is safe to use for cooking and a brita water filter is provided in tbe fridge for drinking. However we do recommend purchasing additional water for drinking.
The toilet is an RV style toilet. To fill the toilet with water lightly press on the pedal, you will need to do this prior to pooping.
If you have any trouble please let us know and we can stop by or walk you through it.
The door is a little stubborn to lock. To lock the door, put the key as you would to lock a door. Once locked pull on the handle (as if you are pulling on it to open the door as you turn the key to pull it out).
All trash can go in the garbage can in front of the porch.
If you decide to go for a walk, please be respectful of our neighbors properties. There is no public access to the lake on the road, any lake frontage is private property.

Honestly, we were not expecting much based on the VRBO posting, but we were pleasantly surprised. The space was adorable, and much roomier than we expected.
Waking up to baby deer at our front door, this place was a great get-away for a night.
The house was as listed and perfect for our three day weekend. We had one little issue with the hot water not working and the owner was super responsive and easy to contact. It was fixed very quickly. We would stay again!
This cabin is a perfect spot to decompress from the hustle and noise of the city. It has an extremely well equipped minimalistic setup that will be really comfortable for anybody with camping experience. Everything necessary is top-notch, no unnecessary distractions, which is exactly what I go for when getting away. Our booking was last-minute to watch the eclipse, and we couldn't have gotten luckier! Heather was super communicative and kind. Thank you, Heather!
The house was an interesting concept but a few things made for an uncomfortable stay. The house was clean and well appointed. It was as it was pictured. The is only a portable tank water supply currently with an on demand pump. The pump has a pulse to it which thumps through the hose and sounds like someone is banging on the side of the house every few minutes. Not easy to sleep through that. There also was a door on only one side of the bathroom. At least a privacy curtain on the bedroom side would be nice since it is totally open. A bit awkward for those nighttime bathroom when someone else is in the bedroom.

Hi Steve, I’m sorry you found the water pump a nuisance. If you would have let us know, we could have given you directions on how to silence it. Fortunately the well pump is being installed soon and that will not be an issue once that is completed.
We will add a curtain on the bedroom side for added privacy.
