About this property

Spacious Historic Hyde Park Bungalow w/ Office in Central Austin by UT/Downtown

This charming light-filled Hyde Park bungalow features 10 foot ceilings with the original wood bead board, beautiful floors, the original clawfoot tub with a full shower, a queen bed in the main bedroom, a daybed and office space in the second bedroom, a full kitchen, fresh sheets and towels, and even free laundry. This historic home was completely remodeled, includes three completely separate residences, but still has its old character and charm from 1915 and is rich in history.

The high speed internet (1 Gbps down and 1 Gbps up) connection and wifi are provided by Google Fiber, which is one of the best, fastest, and most stable internet providers in Austin. Google TV / Youtube TV provides one of the most up to date technologies for the best digital TV available.

Be right in the center of Austin by staying in Hyde Park. Venture out into the rest of Austin during the day and come back to your new relaxing home. Walk, jog, or bike around the neighborhood and enjoy the historic homes, huge trees, and parks in this trendy and quiet neighborhood.

Everything you need is within just a few short blocks! For dining choose from ASTI, Mother's Cafe, Hyde Park Bar and Grill, and Julio's. Go grocery shopping at the local and organic grocery store, Fresh Plus. Get on the bus on the next block over and head straight to downtown and back.

We are family friendly and can accommodate children 5 years old or older. Total of 3 people includes any children. The layout is a shotgun layout. The living room leads into the main bedroom, then into the kitchen, then into the back room/office that has the bathroom attached to it.

My wife and I live in Austin in Hyde Park and love the area. If you have any questions about things to do here or restaurants to eat at, we'd love to help!

Why they chose this property

Hyde Park is a quiet neighborhood near downtown Austin. It's great having access to everything downtown and central Austin has to offer and then come home to a quiet neighborhood.
